Hopefully no one will complain that I posted an extra video this week. ;) I also want to thank you all for the overwhelming positive feedback on my last video! It blew my mind in a good way. Hello Catherine, I have been a follower for some time now and enjoy your stories of travel.
Saw a video from about a month ago where you were speaking on the subject of rude people and comments,
I can tell that you are a kind soul which I know makes it harder to understand how those people live in the world as they do.
But what I've also learned,,, when people are judging you it doesn't define your character-it defines their character as someone who needs to judge to feel better about themselves

One comment you made quite a while ago is you started recording hikes for your mom. That is what I do too. She can't really hike anymore and I try to take her virtually with me on every hike I take. This week I am with her as she has cancer surgery. Praying she comes through entirely cancer free and continues to be the most spry 81 year old lady with a bum knee you've ever seen

I have a similar setup. My campervan is a standalone rig with everything I need for comfortable overnighting. I use a heater buddy to take the chill off before I rise in the morning. I also have a travel trailer which has amenities the van doesn't offer. So typically I will find a place I want to explore and drop the trailer. Then use the van for close-in travel for exploration. The trailer has built-in heating/AC which is perfect for boondocking.

You weren't a John Denver fan growing up!? Thank goodness you changed you ways, lol! I remember playing his songs on the jukebox back in the day. One in particular I played a lot at our family summer vacation lodge in Lake of the Woods, Ontario Canada. We went there every summer for two weeks, and it's still one of my favorite childhood memories. One year in particular, I developed a teenage crush on a girl whos family was there at the same time we were. Thankfully her parents and my parents became friends and we'd go visit them from time to time thereafter. The one song in particular was John Denver's "Annie's Song". Yeah, I was only a teenager, but an old soul. If you haven't listened to it before, check it out. Sorry, that story became a little long winded. I can definitely relate to your distain for hotel rooms. I hate them. If I can help it, I'll never stay in one again. Shouldn't be a problem since I have a truck camper. Glad you got your truck fixed, Cat! Wow, that bill is a little steep, but it's fixed. :) Nice cooler! Anker makes good stuff. Why do I get hungry every time I watch one of your videos, haha! Good thing your ceiling lights don't stay stuck up, lmao. I saw you pause for a second after saying that. I have the same stuck up lights too. They're great. You've got your truck camper setup dialed in. Nice job! Thanks for the bonus video!!

Times they are a changing. I’ll try the new version of car (sleeping in your car) camping this season…’only issue, I have a car, not the room you have.

Thanks Cat 😊 Perfect little road travel and campsite video. That burger looked scrumptious along with your nicely prepared broccoli. Cool how you have your truck camping set up just right. Good Job .... Be Safe and Well

Thanks for taking us along! A nice mid week treat! While traveling out to Arizona a few weeks ago, we hit a large chuck hole on I10 in Beaumont, Tx. We had what called the “death wobble “ It was so frightening! Long story short, it occurred 2 more times before arriving in Sierra Vista, Az. We had the inner & outer drag link ends replaced & added Icon dual stabilizer kit in Prescott Valley, Az. We had seen the “Death Wobble “ on another RUclips channel. It’s fairly common in F250 trucks. It was a
$ 2,000 repair. Take care, Cat! Continued safe travels ❤

Better and more affordable than a motel room. I'm not the biggest fan of John Denver either but I do like folk music, bluegrass, classic rock even some county -western. Thank You for posting your videos. It's nice to take a trip without getting out of my easy chair. Stay Safe!! 🙏👍

Great arrangement. An ex of mine and i used to camp like that a lot. He had drawers under a bed platform that held all the necessary supplies. During the week those drawers held tools for work. So easy to switch drawers.

This was so good, I’m ready to get out and start camping and traveling again. I happen to meet someone along the way that is not a camper and it’s time for me to get to what I love and we’ll figure it out. Thanks so much for sharing your adventures and the inspirations.
