As a kid I always teamed him up with Blowtorch. Had I known he and Spirit had a thing I would have paired them up more.
"Holding hands with Spirit?"!! haha!! busted!!
His, second hair color matches the character better
A nice long exploration- NICE!
Great job covering this cool figure! I saw this really cool custom comic once where BBQ had his guns repurposed to be a flame thrower just for one mission. Fellow GI Joe member Blowtorch was mentioned. I think it was just fan art though.
I remember it in that issue that he appears in, they said. What do we need a fireman for until there's a fire. Of course. I used him because my dad was a fireman. So I figured what the heck? Hes a soldier and a fireman that hes very useful.
The Viper is coming is my favorite episode.
one mf my favorite joes cause like full face mask/ helm
I've always liked Barbecue. I think GI Joe came alive in 1985.
right leg on BBQ- a walkie talkie?
When I turned 12, I was gifted a trip to Walmart and got Barbecue and his Transformers cohort, Inferno
Wonder if Barbecue would be good friends with Charbroil and Blowtorch.
Love this classified figure.
13:01 shopping like that in only in cartoon. BBQ is cool guy
his homemade bbq sauce secret has had him grilled by the enemy for years.
I got the 3 versions.
Hey brother, love the channel, but please let me chime in on this figure, I don't know what the obsession with some of the lame Joe's is? Barbeque and Airtight were straight pegwarmers! And for all the other collectors who still hate on my favorite Joe, in 1985, Snake-Eyes and Quick kick were the hardest figures to find, collectors always hate on Quick kick, but Barbeque, nothing ever was interesting about this figure, maybe if he had a removable helmet, otherwise him and Airtight were straight up lame! If you can, do a review on Law & Order, Mutt and Junkyard, and the Fridge!
