Enigmatic India! Such an old tradition dating back thousands of years yet the festival appears to be so chaotic! This is definitely an optical illusion folks, once you understand the philosophy behind this amazing custom you will truly appreciate its celebration. Jai Hind !
This is surprising and at the same time I am happy that it seems the Indians are enjoying their stay in the Philippines. Marshall, you always bring new and good stuff in your channel, great job!🎉
Wow..I love it many Indians student they love phil.we love u all, beautiful ladies in handsome indians, enjoy your staying Phil..thank u so much Bro..ihope more videos to come like that with collaborations for the many foreigners staying Phil..goodjob guys in goodluck Bro.Marshall for your videos..keep it up,👍👍👍♥️♥️♥️✌🏽✌🏽✌🏽🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭..😍😍😍..
In the 60's or even 70's there are already a lot of Indians in the Philippines! We used to call them "Bumbay"! From the place called "Bombay" i believe, and they are the once who started the 5/6 lending scheme he!he! They are very business minded people! Anyways nice video Marshall, as always!!! -- watching from Canada "Pinoycanadian❤!!!".
And I think you need to stop using that term because that is hurtful to Indians. I have Indian friends and they don't like to be called by that. They are Indians, not Bombay.
@@marshallbuttersvlogs6880 I had a 30 year career in food safety so I have had a front row seat to and personal experience with the risks of food handling practices. I would rather be unadventurous than in the hospital or morgue. 😩 On another note, I really like your channel because you engage with nationals and bring reality to their culture and everyday life. I have always heard about the dangers of traveling to Zamboanga but you and another vlogger alleviated some of the trepidation I’ve had.
@@mistywaters7749 are you ignorant? he already explained it. It's their tradition & culture. that's why there's a lot of trouble in this world because a lot of people specially from the west doesn't know how to respect others culture.
In Southern part of South Asia, people have similarities. Northern and western part of India have similarity in features , while people in North eastern part of India look a lot like SE Asians. Also many are a blend like the Bengalis!
They are medical students and yet they serve and handle plastic cups on the lid itself, not so hygienic future doctors?! The action you represent is not only your future profession that is compromised but the quality of education you had from your medical school. Adapt what one has to do as a future medical professional and not the filthy customs and traditions, especially in food handling. You can eat by your hands yes, many locals do that in the Philippines too but pls use serving spoons especially when you are in a boodle fight, or at least plastic hand gloves. I respect the Indian traditions being a conservative nation but wearing your traditional dress despite the climate in the Philippines I feel like you are putting yourself in an oven and those sweat earn your reputation. So wearing summer clothes, especially a sleeveless dress or shirt is not a revealing clothes in the Philippines.
Omg!! I know them, I saw them everywhere here in Davao❤ I'm happy they enjoy staying here!🎉 Thanks! Happy celebrations Indian traditions

5/6 was started by Chinese immigrants and then taken over by the Indians.

I much prefer serving utensils over hand delivery. Would it be offensive to ask for a knife and spoon?
Maybe not but, a bit unadventurous perhaps.

@@WilliamFluery You can have a dirty spoon too! If war brokes out, you will have to eat with no spoons. If not, you'll not survive.
@@edmhie1 oh contraire…I know how to make a spoon from a piece of wood. 🤣 Plus I would just put a spoon fork and knife in my pocket.
Probably they have better food preparation practices outside India.
Fun video, Do you know if there are Indian Homeopathic Doctors or any Homeopathic Doctors there in Davao ?
No idea my friend
Thanks Marshall, Hoping that one of the Indian students who live there will reply.@@marshallbuttersvlogs6880
Why cant youll use spoon?
Bcoz its not availabel..
It’s their tradition to eat with their hands, try it ,the food is more tasty.

Everything is by hand. They put food on the table by hand, you eat food by hand. No hand washing there?
There was a sink and I washed my hands, as did others, before I ate.
Good.
I don't think they won't mind if he did.
