This was a great game when it first came out. I remember the supply rules were really nice for an operational game at the time (those who remember, many operational games were lacking supply rules beyond trace). Great to see it finally hit the table - with the VG Vietnam game coming soon, as well. Just waiting for the Fleet games from VG and we are set!
Nice unboxing clear and concise as always Moe And no you are not alone both Ardwulf and Kev of big board had counter issues and it seemed to be on different sheets for each of you
The problems for some with the counters has been the registers being off center, like I showed with mine in this video. Mine weren't too bad, and I've seen others that were worse. Compass is replacing them with thinner counters that they had initially had printed for the game. They are the original counters before they switched to the thicker counters, and this is the only game that has counters done by this printing company. Compass has since moved on to another printer that is doing the newer thicker counters. The newer counters you can see in my Napoleon's Imperium video. They're really well done.
Compass has one in the works. They generally look at releasing a vassal mod about 90 days after a games release, so it may be a few months til we see one.
The counter issues are only affecting a very small percentage of the run, about 6%. If you have counters that are off centered you can get them replaced by Compass as I have done without any issues.
@@MoesWargames I've heard Bill squawking about this everywhere, but I do not believe it. Every Unboxing has the problem. I'm guessing the real percentage is 100% of those who have noticed.
@@balaamsass5540 I'm going by what Bill has said on their show, and from hearing from people who have had no issues with the counters. Like I said, Compass is replacing any problem counter sheets with new ones , so it's not an unfixable issue which is great.
@@MoesWargames I should have added that I had the problem and have received my replacements. Compass is johnny-on-the-spot with the replacements, I just don't believe it's only 6% :)
@@balaamsass5540 excellent, glad you got your replacement! Like I said, I'm going with what Bill says and he says 6%. Regardless of 6% or maybe even 10%, Compass is not hesitating to correct the issue and that's all we can want as customers. If there's a problem and there's an offered resolution that works, I'm all for it.

The supply rules were the first ever supply rules that seemed cool, and not tedious, to me.
Two great games in one sentence, Korea and Nam!
Cant wait for game plays to start popping up.
I would expect them fairly soon.
Awesome! Ty for the excellent breakdown
Happy to help, glad you liked it! :)

Thanks Chris, glad you liked the video! Yea, it appears people have had some issues and Compass is aware of it and addressing it.
great unboxing
Thank you, glad you liked it!
That map is impressive
Most impressive.... :)
Good job mate!
Thanks!
Great game. Go all in with the B-29s. :-)
And we have atomic weapons too! 😁
Kevs admin counters we’re mis-registered
Yea, I've been hearing of several people with that issue. An e-mail to Compass should correct any issues.
I hear there are problems with counters being too thick?

No keeping it in shrink - without knowing whether counter misalignment exists on one’s copy - or not.
Darn.....
Easy to check and if you have an issue, there’s an easy fix. 👍🏻
Is a Vassal module coming out?

The map looks to much like Vietnam....and what is with all the tan pieces?.....why not green or OD green form the USA?
Not sure why the color choices were made, but they work.
So sad about the counters. A real turn off!
