Great review Dan! I did not know until today RX 11 was on its way, and when I got the email that it was delivered to my izotope subscription I went searching for videos on what’s new. Your review popped right up. Kudos as always to your uncanny ability to distill technical gobblygook into layman’s terms, and deliver exactly what we need to know in a positive, engaging way. Have RX10 (advanced I think) - on those undesirable and seldom occasions, overall I try to avoid this resource hog if at all possible. Love the Izotope stuff - but RX has been the most unpredictable, requiring tweaking after Assistant - takes time to "get it right" (at least my experience).
I think that’s the challenge with audio restoration. There’s only so much you can do sometimes. That’s why I stress doing it right and only use RX when you have to. But considering the alternative it can really save you sometimes.
