I was in Class 2nd, this show was aired for the first time in India on 2-10-11 and I can't describe my emotions for this in any words available. Precious golden days 😭.
In 3 rd class i was breathing on Ryukendo.. I talked nonstop about this show... It was way ahead of time with the CGI and graphics. I miss the show and Kenji.
I still remember I used to fight with my mother to watch Ryukendo since for some reason it used to air at 7pm, the peak time to start studying and doing school hw. Bt i never left the show and watched till the very last episode. When i think of my childhood, the phrase "Gekiryuken henshin, Ryukendo raijin" is one of my favourite memories!!
I would heavily disagree as ryukendo is just one season and PR has more than 20 years of history behind it you can necessarily compare both of them and saying power rangers didn't have a story and was repetitive is generalising (sure it has tropes every long running series would have those)
@@tornado2366 power rangers was just using the same story of the 5 rangers fighting against the bad guys eventually fighting the one big demon or alien and finally saving the world and I do agree that even in ryukendo the same story goes but as you mentioned because having only 1 season the show was able to showcase character development, dispute inbetween teammates, overcoming their weaknesses and working together as a team and even the grenghost felt really powerful and the final battle of the three Madan warriors joining forces and defeating the demon just felt satisfying. So yes I do agree that power rangers has more history but let’s be honest every single power rangers after the original just recycled the same basic storyline and added a bit of alteration in regards to the main theme of the show I.e samurai, jungle force etc. Ryukendo expressed more in one season than power rangers did in 20 years!

Those are not morphers those are previous dragon warrior who managed to destroy and contain the demon king into a egg during this process they ended up there body but there souls goes to there wepons so those are not morphers those previous dragon warrior who forgets there own past life
It's like the ending in power rangers Dino thunder where all of the rangers had to sacrifice their dino gems (aka morphers) in order to defeat the main villian mesagog

I always love the episode where Ryukendo's morpher's soul comes out as his original human form with amnesia. And the one where the rock monster bonded with the Girl, the police woman. Sad story with a villain which doesn't lead to a redemption arc. I like it. A closeted event in their lives.
That police woman was Komachi if I remember, and yeah she is my favorite supporting character in the show. There's an entire episode where Komachi becomes human, episode 19 if I remember.
