It honestly seems like it overheard Greg and Lisa talking to each other before it killed them, and is now trying to use those sentences to lure Jake towards it.
And, since it has Henry's voice, it's now using that voice to lure Jake around.
I'm pretty sure he/she is using Henry's vocal chords to mimic his voice and lure Jake into a trap
I am surprised Hourglass returned in Oblitus Casa, meaning the rest of the Treasure Island cast also appeared in Oblitus Casa since Hourglass is a combined amalgamation of all the toons in Treasure Island.

I have a feeling that Hourglass is responsible for killing Lisa and Greg. Also wonder how Hourglass got replacement teeth since the face probably took it? Well those replacement teeth were from Greg and this might sound crazy but, maybe Hourglass ABSORBED Lisa's body which explains why its body is more human shaped than from the first game. Because someone is in there giving a but of structure for Hourglass's body.
Hmm, not sure... Though I feel like the Face didn't take Hourglass' skull and teeth. Rather, I think the Face got a new skull and teeth set of his own. Daisy also has a skull, Dippy has teeth, and PNMinnie has eyes. I think they were the ones who killed Greg and Lisa, and got body parts from them. Heck, I'm willing to bet Pete's whiskers are actually hair strands, also taken from either Greg or Lisa.
The change in Hourglass' design is a retcon, btw. That's why Oblitus Casa isn't just a sequel, it's a "requel", much like how Army of Darkness is a requel of Evil Dead. Words from the dev himself.

Hourglass's face looks kinda like he absorbed an old Mickey Mouse-themed gas mask. Maybe FNATI and OC are based on Abandoned By Disney, so maybe it absorbed a Gasgot?
I personally like to think that hourglass is what the thing in room zero looks like (maybe even is the thing if you want him to be). I mean Oblitus Casa made his face look more like those old Mickey Mouse Gas Masks, and the tunnels are pitch black just like the bomb shelter was after everything went silent. The tunnels may also be a little cold. (Shut the door dear, you're letting out the cold.)
