The crime rate has gotten ridiculously high, rent is outrageously high, and to top it off, NYC is being ran by a very incompetent mayor, Eric Adams, who is a Democrat. Furthermore, NYC is being flooded with migrants who are putting a strain on the economy. Furthermore, these migrants, who are not even citizens of this country, are being housed in shelters and fancy hotels while there are homeless people begging on the streets, many of whom are Black. Keep in mind, NYC and New York State as a whole, is under Democratic control, and most Democratic cities and states are in shambles. Furthermore, the Democratic party supports many things that are very detrimental to Black people, such as Abortion and illegal immigration, yet Black people continue to sheepishly support the Democratic party. Joe Biden got into the White House when 91% of Black women and 87% of Black men voted for Joe Biden, an 87 year old man who is senile and can barely put a coherent sentence together and was responsible for the 1994 crime bill that led to the incarceration of hundreds of Black men and his "Black" female vice president Kamala Harris, who as a district attorney in California was responsible for the incarceration of hundreds of Black men and women, Some Black people actually knew this about Biden and Harris and STILL voted for them.

A lot of those Arab owned smoke shops, first selling synthetic marijuana were on the East Side near 125th St. I was watching this Vice series “I Was a Teenage Felon”, a few months ago. Some young Afghani dude who’s family was brought over here back in the early 2000s and settled in Northern VA, would take the Amtrak up to NYC, go into one of those smoke shops and buy in bulk. Then take it back to his city and triple his money. I also notice a lot of these dudes like smoking that synthetic weed bullshyt, on the subway. I smells like burning chemicals. I don’t see the same with regular weed, to that extent.
I think it's time to move on to the south. I used to live in NYC as a kid. Nothing changed by the looks of it. Crime and rent are still high. ATL has it's problems, but it's not nearly as bad. You don't need to go thru a ton of hoops to get a weapon either.
(imo) There's money in dysfunctional communities. Government funding goes to community leaders and.... But we as blacks should still have high standards for neighborhood but we don't. Blacks should be independent but it will never happen.
