He needs to be somehow thrown in Death Note and we see how he acts. I'd say his blank face and martial arts are the only thing that's superior to others. Everything else is unknown.

I wish there were more animes where characters are really smart. And there is a massive difference between telling us a character is smart vs showing it to us. Most animes tend to use quotes from other characters and some stereotypes to make it feel like some character is smart. The better way was shown in Death Note, where anime states first that Light is the best student, and then we've seen his thoughts and actions that were well thought. But for me it's actually the best when anime doesn't tell you anything and you figure it out yourself over time. COTE makes intelligent people look more intelligent.
