It was a very good video card. I switched from it a few weeks ago, to a GTX 1060 with 6 GB for 50 euros, it literally stood for 4 years on a shelf in a box like new, no one took it apart... 🙂💪💪💪

3:22 Because bush assets have absurdly high polygon counts, it's a shame even developers can't set LoD levels these bushes, I tested quixel assets LoD levels in Unreal Engine 5 and it HASN'T a difference between thousands of polygons. I mean if a simple flower asset (peony plant for example) has 10000 polygons in default, sometimes (for example) 3000 polygons is enough in close level because there ISN'T a difference 😅

I have to get one at one point,it's too legendary to not have one even just as a backup or in a collection.
It started to show its age but is insane how a GPU this old from the -50 series holds up this well.
The first number is the series, the second is the GPU. So it would be the "700 series" and would be a "50 card"

I have a Ryzen 7 5800X3D, and the performance doesn't drop at all thanks to the 3D v-cache I really recommend it for this game.

I will surprise you even more, I played on this card two years ago at medium settings of more than 60-70 frames per second, I don’t know what they did with the game over the years, most likely they did it this way on purpose
There is simply absolutely no graphics in this cartoonish game, I myself wonder why I could play with this video card 2 years ago, you can say less than 100 frames. But now even at minimum settings it’s impossible..

Warzone runs better on my pc than fortnite, I'll be getting framedrops to 70-60fps while on warzone I'm getting stable 100fps with no drops even if I don't get higher max fps. Same with other games. Theres some who say "the game has good optimization" but I believe that it doesn't, it just isn't resource intensive. The game lacks proper optimization, the performance is never stable and not even on high end pcs. Game lacks proper netcode and cpu core utilization, in my opinion. mobile is also terrible and way worse
the 750ti is a great graphics card, i had it for like 5years and i just changed it but it is still running in my homelab, this graphics card its a great bang for the buck if it is for your 1st pc
I heard that epic updated the unreal engine 5 from 5.0 to 5.4 but the damn engine stil stuters like hell.
i feel like the engine uses the cpu very badly
the best way to stop stutters in fortnite is to limit your fps like i have a rtx 4060 in br if i had it set to unlimited it would stutter a lot i got 260 fps i would limit it to 200fps it fixs the 1% lows by a lot hope this helps you

I have a 750 ti and a i7-4790 CPU and with maximum performance and computer tweaks I peak 250 fps in game and 300 fps in creative. Fortnite is a cpu based game mostly but even with this you can get peak performance with a cheap gpu if you know how to use it.

13:04 I have an i5 3330 and I don't use direx 11 and it goes bad, there are many stutters and it doesn't go over 60 fps in low, in performance mode it goes without stutters.
if you want stop staturs in fortnite unlock frame limites in the game and locket with riva tuners i use 144 monitors i locket at 144 for example the game stop staturing 👍👍👍
Try Frame Generation mod on these old cards its magic !

I have this card, but I use it with a fx 4300 which sucks, I bought a new motherboard and a fx 6300 but it got destroyed by the water here in the south of Brazil before it was delivered to me... Now I'm trying to get my money back...

Gtx 750 ti i5 3470 with 75mhz bump on both boost and vram clocks gets 160 sometimes in br and 150 to 180 in creative. Pretty happy
Performance mode helps a lot

Hi ZWORKZ, I have a doubt which I hope you could clear up. When im playing games on my laptop, My games run well for some time and then the game fps drops to like 3 fps for like 1 or 2 seconds and then the fps goes back to 60. This continues in a cycle. This doesnt happen with older/ games with low requirements. But when i check benchmarks of the game on YT on similar specs, this doesnt seem to happen. What could be the reason for this?
Your laptop is overheating. Find a tutorial online on how to clean your laptop and it will perform great. Also you can put something small under the back of the laptop to let if suck air better.

I would say 750ti is a bit better but if you set up the best settings with performance mode: for example 1920x1080 80% res and performance mode, you might have decent frames.

1:29 you should not keep the render distance too fare for competitive settings, both for the grass, that is terribile, and because that's not the rendering distance for players or buildings, just for LODs of dropped items, and can tank the fps even on a 14900K, seriously

It was a 1070 and a rx 570 / 12,??? For the 1070 and 14,789 for the 570 so in reality both hardware and software capabilities the 570 is faster

Yeah it's fine! They just slowed down the driver rollout for those, they're still supported, but I guess it won't be for long unfortunately.
Still, even if they stop support completely, they'll be fine for a year or 2.
