Wedging out Billets. Part 1

This little video shows how I break up a log to obtain billet chunks, which I’ll divid into belly billets later on. It’s close to the same for staves. Sorry for the low volume in the beginning. Hope you enjoy

Watching you swing that hammer brought back a memory. I was helping my Dad frame a house 50 years ago, he told me I hammered like lightning. I was a feeling a little puffed up about myself until he added that lightning never strikes the same place twice. All kidding aside. Thank you for sharing your expertise.
