Andy you could likely just extend the power / gnd / canH/canL wires from the radio harness down the rear pillar, and just wire in the factory radio behind the console there, long as its connceted should be happy. Then leave your aftermarket radio up the the slot connected to the speakers :)

That's the trouble with John Deere always something going wrong with them fit a new radio no lights and nothing on the stick what happens if you put new wiper blades on wheels fall off and loading arm buckles lol
About time someone invents a self propelled grain chaser bin that can be controlled like a drone on field tram line boundary. Would be better to keep tractors off fields reducing compaction. Electric drive would be great and as forage trailers are getting larger, they should be self propelled too with RO-RO backs.
I have seen in the USA they can remotely control the tractor & trailer and it will drive itself to the combine and under the augur to unload then the combine operator can tell the tractor & trailer to go park on the headland ! I worked in arable farmint myself for 30 years or so on a 4,500 acre farm
Have you got LED lights on the combine? I only ask because when I fitted a DAB radio to the Defender it played havoc with the LED lights. Took it to a car stereo place and they fitted some kind of isolator that solved the issues

Cheers Layton! Yea drier at farm 1, the grain goes through a pre cleaner that vacuums chaf from the grain but we don’t use the main cleaner no 👍🏻
