Great video. I was looking for an old school police light bar for my character's Pontiac Bonneville sheriff car in my new book series and just happened to stumble upon your video. There's just something so much cooler with those older ones than with the modern day LEDS. The sounds of the clicking switches, the rotors spinning around. So awesome. Thanks again for your video.
They came out (VERY BRIEFLY) in 2004-2005 with a LED version. I’ve been trying to find the name of the series for yeeeaaaaarrrssss. Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼 I’ve yet to be able to come across one and google NOR eBay have been of any help whatsoever for years! Any help please 🙏🏼🙏🏼 and thank you in advance
@manikhispanik9407 The MX7000 had different versions, rotators, and strobes. They also had the Excalibur, which used the same upper dome of the MX7000 but had a smaller base lens, which was also shared with the 2100. The 2100 used a flat top but is newer. There was also a Javilin that was led. I don't think they had any special names for specific versions. It just fell under the model name.
They are the "smart intersection sweeps" which had a special control board to allow them to function as takedowns, alleys and sweeps. Which was an option from Code 3.
Richard Vara thanks! Depends on the condition really. A bar like the one in this video goes for $385. At least that is what this one sold for. Generally 250 to 375 can get you a nice bar.

My all time favorite light bar. Complete with intersection sweeps!!
Such a beautiful light-bar especially given it's age!
I wish we’d see these light bars more.

You might get lucky finding some on ebay or check out elightbars. Other than that im not sure.
Hi, did you restore that yourself? I'm looking for a controller and maybe some other parts. Any help on that is appreciated.
