I am a patient of Simon at ICARUS online since jan 2019. I am a former fireman, Soldier and civilian police officer. I am also transgender. CPTSD had pervaded my whole life. My thought patterns, my responses everything. I too have attempted suicide and suffered constant suicidal ideation. I would just encourage you that there is a way out of the darkness, you can recover and reclaim your life. In the short 10 months since I have been working with Simon my whole life has changed. I am finally finding peace. Ask for help, there is no shame in seeking help from those who have been there and know. ICARUS saved and gave me my life when both my wife and I had resigned ourselves to the belief that we would just have to somehow live with it. Also, please remember those close to you. It takes love, commitment , bravery and the ability to see the real you behind the PTSD and stay the course with you. They too need love and caring for. I cannot thank ICARUS and Simon enough. I now have a future. Thank you
