    clearly people talking crap don't know golf, play it or know how to play if they do. It's not a weak swing, nice easy tempo is the key to good consistent shots. This guy has a 5-7 handicap and has been golfing for 20 years. Believe me when I say, the man can golf.

    Im sceptic. How is balls movement captured? Spin, line of travel and so. Is there sensors on the white screen? That make sense. But if the little gadget/lazer/camera on floor is only measuring device then it can hardly be accurate. In my opinion the first few inches after impact on all shots is not much diff. Left/right....up/down(horizontal/vertical) movement during 5inches of travel can hardly be calculated.

    What year was this

    Calling bullshit on this. No way JT's 2nd shot with an iron carried 180 yards with that swing when he can't even carry 200 with a driver.

      schwarg driver is a week spot in a lot of people's games. there's plenty of guys who can smash their iron but can't hit a driver well

      Timberlake is a 6 handicap and owns a golf course. How about you?

      Did you not see how softly he swung with the driver? I don't know if he was just trying to keep it straight, or if he was pre-emptively taking pity on Jimmy, but he barely swung at it. JT's actually a pretty good golfer with a handicap around the 4-6 range as Shakester mentioned. I'm worse than he is and I can easily carry a 5-iron 180 yards. I have no doubt JT's second shot was accurate.

      +OxiClean - So true.... There is also no way a ball speed of 116 can achieve that as well. Probably carried 150 yards

      +Kevin Lu I Storm Chasing An 8 iron has an average ball speed of 115 mph with 160 yards of carry, so you're already wrong. Thats with an 18.1 launch angle. So if JT grabbed a 6 iron, which from his 15 degrees launch angle would indicate, with an average gain of 11 yards per club, that would be 182 yards of carry which is pretty much exactly what the simulator has.

    What a weak swing....

    • @Shakester71
      @Shakester71 7 лет назад +1

      Its not what a swing looks like, but the results of it. From back to top, its pretty irrelevant how you look. Its from the top to the ball that determines a good shot. Jim Furyk doesn't have the prettiest swing. Neither does Sergio Garcia. But both are PGA winners that have sustained a great amount of success that spans well over a decade.

      It is a weak swing, very little body rotation, not enough lag, and not enough hip rotation. No wonder he hits it so short.

      It’s a fundamentally sound swing actually. It’s a swing you could build on unlike a lot of long drive mashers.
