Maam, 4:16 why did you say the further the planet, the weaker the gravitaional field? Isn’t it supposed to be further the planet, the higher the graviational field and weaker ke?
if im not wrong, the gravitational field strength would be weaker but gravitational potential energy would be higher. since the closer the planet is to the sun, the greater the strength of its gravitational field. imagine you have a comet in an elliptical orbit, when it gets closer to the sun, it experiences a greater pulling force by the sun, so it moves faster (gains KE). as it gets further away, less pulling force so it orbits slower (KE transferred to GPE). hope this helps, good luck!
Hello, I'd like to know whether we have to memorize the chart of planets (each planet's orbital distance from sun, gravitational strength, density, etc). If so, I'm so cooked. Thank you for an amazing video!
No no you don’t need that. Go through this to see what u need to know. Anything not mentioned here will not come out www.cambridgeinternational.org/images/595430-2023-2025-syllabus.pdf
pls tell me how u know what can come up in the exams😢 physics is so hard i never know what can come even the syllabus doesnt say why might come. theres nothing about moon phases but they got questions about it in an exam 😭 how do i know what can come? and there are weird theory questions i never understand them 😭😭😭
If you have a strong understanding about the topics covered in the video, then yes it will be good to practice past papers. The more you practice, the better you will get at solving questions. You should not just rely on one source which is watching a video. Hope that helps 😊
Yes you must Know that : in comparison to each other, the four planets nearest the Sun are rocky and small and the four planets furthest from the Sun are gaseous and large, and explain this difference by referring to an accretion model for Solar System formation, to include: (a) the model's dependence on gravity (b) the presence of many elements in interstellar clouds of gas and dust (c) the rotation of material in the cloud and the formation of an accretion disc
