its possible to reach 1 million without spending but it will take a very very long time to grind, like playing every character everyday, all hero dungeons and another world dungeons, some dungeons you may not be strong enough right away so you'll have to keep grinding other dungeons until you are strong enough, it can take a few months before actually touching end game content. you can get pretty far with just playing a few characters but you would be behind on collection bonuses, and levels, which are a huge impact on performance having a team to play with everyday, helps a lot but it'll probably be hard for a newer player to find a dedicated team to play with since most are veterans that have established their own groups and spend your free vp wisely on stuff like crit chance coordi from coordi shop, those are a huge impact the only difference between someone who spends money and someone who doesn't, is just gacha coordi, they do add a lot to total attack but its mainly crit chance, which it is important but not crazy OP difference everything else can be farmed, its just that spending money progresses a lot faster, what it takes a f2p 1 month, would take me 5 minutes having knowledge and time will make things easier but its a lot to take in, this game isn't very new player friendly, they made older content easier but new content harder to get into

Veigas but both characters need have to pretty high stats before they're good
