ਸਮਾਣਾ ਦੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਸ਼ਾਹਪੁਰ ਚ ਕੁਝ ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਜਦੋਂ ਇਕ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਖੇਤ ਚ ਆਪਣਾ ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਗਿਆ ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਕਾਰਨ ਪਾਣੀ ਦੀ ਪਾਈਪ ਟੁੱਟ ਗਈ ਪਰ ਫਿਰ ਵੀ ਜਦੋਂ ਉਕਤ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਨੇ ਨਵੀਂ ਪਾਈਪ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਪਾ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਤੇ ਝਗੜਾ ਵੱਧ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਸ ਵਿਚ 2 ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਗੰਭੀਰ ਰੂਪ ਵਿਚ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਸਨ, ਜਿਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨ ਇਕ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਹਰਜਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਨੰਬਰਦਾਰ ਦੀ ਇਲਾਜ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ। ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਧਾਰਾ 307 ਤਹਿਤ 7 ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਮਾਮਲਾ ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤਾ ਸੀ।
