The Cardiovascular Care Unit at Staten Island University Hospital

In 2022, Staten Island University Hospital celebrated the opening of the Cardiovascular Care Unit (CVCU). This modern, state-of-the-art, single-bedded medical/surgical unit provides our patients with spacious accommodations and high-quality amenities, creating the ideal space for health and healing. The CVCU is part of our Department of Cardiology, which is dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centric inpatient and outpatient cardiac services, including cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, structural heart, heart failure, cardiothoracic surgery, and diagnostic cardiac imaging services. We continue to be the premier center for cardiac care serving the Staten Island community.
