I know I commented basically the same thing on the last video but man, this one is even better! That mario kart tech n9ne sequence was great, you have a talent for this kind of thing. Can't wait to see where it goes next!
Thank you so much; I really appreciate the kind words ^-^
I like the yellow bar you put on the bottom as you did the little intro-side info thing. Only thing I'd suggest is to use RUclips's section/part feature, even if it is just to separate intros and the main video (you don't have to cut everything into parts, I mean). Up to you though, I don't know how that all affects viewership. Keep it up!
Good point! I haven't messed with the chapter functionality, so I should look into that
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights If you paste this into the description it will add chapter markers to the video. You can obviously rename these or split up the game play into more sections but since it's all thieving, it didn't make a ton of sense to me to add it.

@@Rulerofwax24 really? That's a surprisingly good QOL. Next video I'll be doing that for sure!
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights You can edit the description of this video right now and it will add the chapter markers. Even though a lot of people have seen this episode already, I have a feeling it's going to blow up and a lot more people will watch this down the line, so you might as well add the markers for this one
@@Rulerofwax24 fair! I'll do that later today
usually i worry that difficult runescape challenge series will burn out quickly, but i believe in this one because furries are the most dedicated and persistent people in the world.
looking forward to the nostalgic nature grotto bridge!
Thank you!
THis takes one of the favourite concepts from the tilemen/chunkment etc. is it's all the unique RS content that's been released over the years that i never knew existed. Great stuff buddy!
Thanks so much!
subscribed and notifications on. Another great series with an amazing storyteller on top. Gonna be looking forward to new episodes 👍
Thank you so much!
this is exactly the kinda insanity i love. looking forward to watching you have a mental breakdown needing to lamp to 50 runecrafting or something horrific.
take your time with uploads, they don't need to be every week like it's your job. better to make it good than make it fast, yafeel
Thanks so much! I appreciate the understanding ^-^
Such a unique concept for a video series. I haven't played RuneScape in over 15 years, but i love the content.
Thanks so much!
There really is a sense of nostalgia watching this series and reliving the days of playing OSRS before it was old school.
@@pikati985 That's a huge reason I still play!
The editing is seriously top notch, especially since youre doing this as a hobby like you said
Thank you so much! I would love to turn it into more of a hobby, but making something like this financially stable is obviously not an easy thing to do... That being said, I might start looking into doing editing as a gig while I work on this series since I've learned so much between when I started and now
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlightsNot to mention, being reliant on something like this can VERY easily make it not enjoyable, having tougher deadlines and whatnot. Its a tough balancing act, coming from someone who made a hobby into a career 😅
@@corexmaily absolutely fair... We'll see how it shakes out, but I would love to give it a try because I really have enjoyed it so far
Dude I'm on the edge of my seat for this series and I don't know why
Thanks so much!
I love hyperfellatio and all his silly little training methods:)
Every day, we stray further from god
I love the edits, you're doing good work man
Thanks so much!
There's going to be some absolute shenanigans involved to get to the highest levels in this run. And I'm here to see it.
And I'm glad to have you here!
Hell yea we will watch your career with great interest. Don’t worry about boring us! 40 min long videos would be awesome
Thank you!
nice just saw the previous one great timing.
Glad you liked it!
Great video!
Thanks!
Another way to get to the tower of life: the boat in rimmington, either by walking or getting thrown in jail
Very true! Lever was just the first that came to mind
I think the best way to handle lamps is that you can use them ONLY when they won't give you a level. That way you still have to "burn" a method per level.
The way random event lamps work, that shouldn't be a problem. But for quest lumps, I'd be counting them as a quest for methodology
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights Oh quest lamps are fine, I was talking specifically about random lamps.
yeah i like when ppl do unique stuff with their accounts. its fun to watch
Thank you! I'm glad so many people are enjoying watching!
Buying bronze bars from shops and smithing different weapons seems like would really help combat and smithing progression early on (and makes smithing much more useful for your game mode which is cool too). Then could loot iron bars in wilderness for levels after that. Training dummies would have been nice but unfortunately already 8 atk, but probably doesn't matter I'm sure you will have plenty of weapons/quests to utilize still and will be cool to see :)
If Shantay Pass is too busy (popular bronze bar shop that can be out of stock) Tai Bwo Wannai has a shop with bronze bars near an anvil
I was actually about to start doing smithing planning today! You're definitely right about it helping with the amount of weapons, too
@@GlutesGIM good thinking! I'm gonna end up learning so much useless information through this grind XD
uniqueman is on the autoban! were getting to 99 bois xD
music selection is on point lol
Thanks!
can't wait for more vids bro, keep it up :)
Thanks!
Cool concept, excited to see more keep it up!
Thanks so much;
Thanks so much!
if your struggling for early game weapons castle wars has some 0 req banner weapons in the game, 1 for each team, and you would have to hit another player
Not a bad idea; I'll look into that!
Hey loving the new series so far! Just thought I'd let you know that the easter event just dropped and the mining activity awards *drumroll please* 1 mining xp a pop! get in there and grab a free mining level!
👀
There's also a door in ardy that you can do thieving at level 1
Does it give experience? If it does, then I believe that's not on the experience table... Maybe I'll go check it out and submit a change to the wiki if it does! (Or I'm just crazy and didn't see it)
Things I am very interested in:
- Are books of knowledge and lamps considered two separate XP sources?
- How TF you gonna get 2 herblore? I didn't think it was possible.
- Tears of Guthix gonna be in clutch, but I wonder when it'll be most optimal
- Did you consider things like Lost City when you did unarmed training straight away?
I'll answer these in order!
- random lamps and books are "free" in that they don't count towards methodology. I do have a rule that limits their use which I explained in the video, but it boils down to 1 collection log slot = 1 lamp/book
- I believe I said it in the first episode, but maybe I recorded it and never used it... I'm allowing myself an exception for Herblore because it's not possible (outside of glitches/exploits) to get to 2 without also hitting 3
- Tears is definitely going to be nice! I haven't thought about when I would be using it yet
- Nope... My planning can only extend so far. Fortunately I do have a rule in place (which I'll describe when it's relevant) that's basically "incidental XP from doing other things doesn't count." Specifically, if a quest requires something like lighting normal logs, I'm going to ignore that tiny amount of XP so long as it's negligible to the experience needed to level. This is to stop me from being locked out of tons of content (quests mainly) that provide token XP gains
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights on herblore, you showed the skill board with a few question marks to show uncertainty, but didn't elaborate. (I've never played, really only watched settled, so I don't actually know what's what)
maybe I missed it in the last episode (or maybe it's in this one and I haven't seen it yet) but did you explain somewhere already how you're going to do slayer?
No, not yet! I do have a rule for that though
is that TEKA NINA mixed with...Mario Kart music? lol
It's this! ruclips.net/video/4eX5jwb5vl4/видео.htmlsi=O621lpaz2YEZtCD7
How will you deal with other quests that get cooking experience? Are quests that give cooking XP just simply off limits now, or are you only allowed to level up once with a cooking quest, and if it gets you exactly to the next level?
Each quest would be its own method, but it has to give me a maximum of one level
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlightsHope you manage to line up Waterfall quest exactly where it needs to be!
Please consider playing on Fixed - Classic! It's pretty tough to see everything on mobile with Resizable.
Also consider lamping hitpoints since it's already an exception!
I increased the UI scaling starting about halfway through the next episode!
And lamping HP isn't a bad idea...
another great job!
Thank you so much!
I'm assuming you can't pickpocket HAM members not because of the trapdoor (since you could just wait for someone else to open it) but because there's a chance you get thrown in their jail cell which gives thieving XP when you pick the lock. If that's the case, I have solutions: (1) consider the thieving XP from the jail cell to be "failure XP" like how you got different amounts when you failed the trapdoor and the Port Sarim jail cell door without considering that a different method; i.e., sometimes when you fail pickpocketing HAM members there's a chance you have to gain thieving XP (albeit delayed). (2) bring teleports (or home/minigame teles) and leave that way each time.
You're correct!
I could definitely count it as "failure" xp, though that does still constitute two strictly different methods... I'm not opposed to it if I get stuck though.
As for the teleports, that would take a VERY long time unless I got Magic high enough to do a Lumbridge teleport AND had the runes/funds for it. Definitely not off the table, but not something I want to do if I can avoid it (at least until I DO have the level and runes)
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights You could potentially buy a chronicle from Diango in Draynor for a cheap teleport out. Maybe a rough run back but decent in a pinch.
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights Also I guess the distinction is whether your definition of skilling method means a specific action vs. an activity. The jail cell could be considered part of the same activity but a different action. Sort of like how an agility course is several actions together or certain minigames have several different actions (e.g., Motherlode Mine has different amounts of mining XP for mining paydirt and for cleaning it which are different actions but one activity).
@@kevinkevinholt I completely forgot about that! Yeah, that would work... Either way I should definitely grab a chronicle
@@kevinkevinholt very fair! When I start agility I'm going to bring up the fact that I'll be counting agility courses as one method each, so I could justify under a similar clause
enjoy the grind, the seaweed grind 😎
Pour one out for the loss of seaweed so 😢
wouldnt it make sense for the spreadsheet to list skills in the same order as they are in game? instead of being listed alphabetically?
I found alphabetical better for my planning process, so that followed into the public sheet
uh oh, i think doing sinew this early is going to end up locking you out of making quite a few crossbows in the future
It might... But that's a risk I'm willing to take to avoid this method down the line
was that the fishing guild I saw? Maybe the Karamja lobby spot even
I am confusion
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights There was a popup on the bottom of the screen that I believe said "how well do you know osrs" or something similar. I only glanced at it for a second before it went away. I"m pretty sure I saw water and just a little bit of dock.
@@america8706Ooooooooooooh!
Good eye! Unfortunately, both of those guesses are incorrect~
the rules on Weaponry are really messing with me, are there really enough weapons to get you high atk, str AND def?
Should be, I think... But we'll see if I'm wrong XD
I just cant imagine, as the proud owner of a 1950IM and a 2100HCIM, not usin say, a DSCIM or a whip for like thousands of hours.@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights
@@stabf2635 oh, there for sure aren't enough GOOD weapons... But axes and pickaxes are weapons (unfortunately)

Almost didnt watch this video because of the #tags on the video making me think I wouldn't enjoy it. But uh, yeah not sure why those are there.
Enjoying these and looking forward to more!
Because they're relevant to me as a creator, so people with similar interests can find me and know what to expect in live streams
@XorenMoonbeamHighlights fair enough! No judgment from me. I just wouldn't pursue content related to those tags. So I guess it depends on your intended audience.
All the best and will look forward to more videos (:
@@mdccxxvii thanks so much!
Just to let you know your video got reuploaded just now in a channel called "osrs guide", video title "gilineanor's most wanted - uniqueman".
Well that's... Wild. Thank you
I can't believe that over the course of two weeks I went from 80 subscribers to needing to submit a copyright claim. Absolutely bonkers. Thank you so much for pointing this out!
7-8 attack on the dummy in varrock? you dont gain xp from it after level 8
Yeaaaaaaah... A bit too late for that one, unfortunately
yes
Yes!
Maybe
@@pikati985 Very much so
Guessing you can't pickpocket H.A.M. members because you need to do it during the Zanik Quest for the outfit?
Might run into a few issues with this stuff, of needing to do something you've already done, but for progression rather than XP.
You might want to proactively think through a sensible rule for this, so you don't have to panic-fix it later :) Maybe separating progression from XP is a good way, treating XP gained during progression as incidental?
I can't do H.A.M. members because of what happens when you fail!
And I do have a rule in mind regarding incidental xp, but I'm gonna cover it when it comes up
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlightsOoooo, being locked into lockpicking your way out of the HAM Jail for a level would suck pretty badly! Good thinking!
The real question is how he would even get into the HAM hideout in the first place, now that he's locked out of lockpicking the trapdoor until 99 Thieving
@@AliJ5533 I could always bring my main over to open the door for me!
@@XorenMoonbeamHighlights How would you even enter the HAM Hideout you can never pick lock the trap door again (unless i misunderstand the rules) and as such you can not enter the hideout? I'm fairly confident that other players open your trap door. its an instanced object iirc
moar!
I'm working on more today! Depending on how motivated I am, I might end up releasing another episode on Friday~

Level 15?
Oops! That's definitely an error XD
I actually wish you weren't an ironman. I don't think being an ironman makes the challenge more interesting. Even with the GE, you would still need to do strange methods that give 1 or 2 experience. But yeah. glgl. will watch with bated breath
I debated it for a while, but I figured it would make it more of a puzzle to be solved rather than a checklist.
Thanks for watching, and I'm looking forward to continuing it!
What's up with the tags buddy, are you trying to ruin my search results?
Maybe...
Such a unique concept for a video series. I haven't played RuneScape in over 15 years, but i love the content.
