Near miss 13 Aug 2017 - M5 near Nailsea - Audi & Land Rover nearly causing a smash

13 Aug 2017 Lane 4 is about to end and filter into lane 3. My wife has seen this and moved over but the white landrover seems to want to take it to the end. Unfortunately for him the Red Audi driver in lane 2 decides to move into lane 3 effectively taking away the space in the traffic the white Landrover was going to filter into.
Both vehicles do not want to give in so just come to a grinding halt in lane 3 making the Red Jaguar take avoiding action onto the chevrons.
There was also a blue BMW right behind my wife who managed to stop about an inch from her bumper (that's who shes praising in the video BTW). A silver VW transporter also had to take avoiding action onto the chevrons beside her which is just out of shot.
The Red Audi Driver shouldn't have moved over whilst vehicles are merging and the White Landrover could have lifted off and tucked in behind the Audi even if it meant going on the chevrons a bit.
Just glad everyone was alert and no one crashed. Would have been a different story in the wet.
