Great idea and LIV also listened to feedback from the fans and implemented lots of improvements after the first episode in Miami, left it more in the hands of the youtube golf production teams. The PGA Tour notoriously never listen to the fans, the made a big mistake suspending Wesley as well, they are out of touch.

I understand it's very different but this is so much better than the creator classic honestly. The production, the filming and editing, not having boring broadcasters and just letting the players be themselves, the level of golf, it's all better.

@AW-rx7hm They took all the feedback and adjusted accordingly. The creative directors, content strategists, marketing people at LIV have made some great decisions with Duels and giving the creators the keys. PGA needs to catch up

Couldn’t agree more with this comment. I rarely consume PGA golf unless it’s the 10-15 min round recaps. I’ve gone back and watched all the old Bob does sports and Bryan bros videos. Just great content plus Kwon, Tooms, Taco, Sam and the fridge are great too!!!

While I definitely consume this more than any other golf content (LIV or PGA tour events), I still think that the PGA is necessary for keeping the game of golf alive, as it provides a platform to show people be as competitive as humanly possible in the game. I really do think that this era of golf is among the best though, these guys are bringing in a new level of fan engagement. I think more sports ought to do more like this on platforms like RUclips so everyone can watch.
duals has been the best youtube golf series for me so far.. the banter paired with this level of golf just can't be matched with $250k on the line

These Duels matches are some of my favorite content on YT. It doesn't work without Phil there talking and riling up the rest of the groups. Man, I love these conversations so much.

I bet you're not the only one. I only started getting into it more early in the season myself, and the first few editions of the duels certainly helped fuel my interest mid season.
I found this one to be a little flat personally, just because it was only 3 teams and it's the same 3 guys we see collab together every week almost.
I lloved the first few with 6/8 teams in each, and although I' not a big Rick Shiels guy and the event got some hate, I really enjoyed the Ryder Cup style UK version. I particularly missed the Kwon/Bubba dynamic here but would love to see some new teams and creators next season.
Sadly, this just kinda felt like another Grant/BB video to me, albeit an epic one. I've seen Grant and the BB collab with Jon and Phil heaps, and while it's admittedly content gold, I just prefer these events to feel a bit bigger and/or different.

Have no fear. The PGA is trying to do something similar to this now. They just don't have the characters to make as enjoyable. I doubt Tiger would slump to socializing RUclipsrs, Scottie would suck the energy out of the room and Rory would try to monetize happiness.
PGA TOUR is for grandpa and grandma to watch. Too boring and players have no personality. Scottie, Xander , Rory, JT have no personality. All the personalities are on LIV 😅😊
