On my moms side I am Muscogee creek out of Oklahoma on my dads side I am 2 bands of Pueblo and Apache. We have lost contact with our people on my dad’s side. Not by choice, my great great grandfather left the reservation and told everyone we were Mexican as a means of not being hunted. My family found out we were native when grandpa was on his death bed. I was 5 at the time. I’m now 34 and teaching my children the traditions and trying to recover the lost time. I am very proud to be NdN our culture, teachings and way of life are irreplaceable!
I found out today that I am 1/64 Apache from my Fathers Mother . I was adopted and just learned this today! My heart has happy tears...I have always felt this...But did'nt know! I am filled with a happy heart today....
I hear this song and I can’t help the tears welling in my eyes. I am reminded of my time serving in the Middle East and that longing for home that a lot of us felt all those years ago.
Nice prayer song about "God, the earth, the beautiful way..." You actually don't need to understand if you don't speak the language...the song pretty much speaks for itself.
The Apache Nation... Songs like these should be kept within the tribes of the Great Apache Nations. Up lifting and powerful in ways only a tribe such as the Apaches are of one. I'm a Chippewa-Cree and listening to these songs, well... they bring life and happiness and up lifting of the soul just by listening to them. Very powerful music and thanks. Brings me great comfort. Kenny Standing Rock.
I Agree these songs should be kept within the tribe. These are very beautiful powerful dance songs. I am 100% Laguna Pueblo but I always listen to all apache songs their just so pretty make you feel good and cleansed

Beautiful song! I am not native, but I am not a Pinda-liko-ye either. Don't even speak Athabascan but I understand the culture to a point and feel the vibes in this great music. This is what all the leaders and warriors fought for over the centuries; so their people could remain Apache. The Apaches are unique even among other tribes.
I can't wait to hear the great music live at the pow wow my family I love every great hunt is great when we bring home all the goods from our long hunt for our children and tribe members. An exciting moment to see the joy on everyone's faces to see the hunt.
To be accepted among our tribes-All Indians can shine when nations of Indians stand ready to welcome each other without separation or divide. Music that speaks to the spirit of each individual resonates a special connection even when words are unknown-true is a measure of the heart.
