This Standard Volibear & Tryndamere ramps to turn 8 to play Warmother's Call for 11 mana. You control the board until that point and once you start getting free units from your deck every turn, it becomes pretty hard to lose the game.
This is one of the decks I'm bringing to the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier) where a top 2 finish will qualify me for the World Championship. EVERYTHING about my 3 deck lineup can still change for that so don't just copy my decks blindly!

Everytime I see this deck, I can win easily with Zed Yi Control.
That was an interesting run.
I like seeing the highlights and thoughts after the games where some clutch decisions made a win or a lose, especially that part where you went ahead and looked up the opponent's deck.
I do love that Runeterra lets you do this too, that's something neither MTG nor Hearthstone (the other two TCGs I'm familiar with) would ever let me

1:50 Shouldn’t opponent have just passed if they had nothing more to than a 1 damage attack to do that turn? Seems like a good strategy to screw over a ramp deck? Which then also brings up the question, should Snnuy have risked the pass being a ramp deck?
It screws them more, since unit based decks rely on that curvature and if they do pass, it delays their board development
@@dragonjoshua100 But he obviously didn’t have the curve, so based off what you’re saying, it would have been more beneficial for the opp to have passed instead of attacking. And based on what you’re saying, Snnuy had more to risk since if the opp didn’t have the curve and just passed, that would have screwed them both over instead of just the opp.

Speaking of Shen, I have been messing around with a Pantheon Shen deck, and its just unfair. It actually made me want to see how high can I climb with it
At 11:27 you shouldve blocked the crackshot corsair and freeze the 5/5, then you would've saved 1 hp on the next attack and you wouldn't have been vulnerable to a ping

he's still trash, it's just that if you summon an 8-4 for free with staying power it's good enough. the champ design is flawed unless it's specifically paired with a way to cheat him onto the board. who wouldve thought mana cheating / summoning units for free makes a big unit good enough
