90% of people who get popular of their music on TikTok are genuinely terrible at making music. they make like a catchy beat for 15 seconds which they can post on tikotk for views. but the rest of the song is basically trash and just annoying to listen to. and they always make that stupid video like "what if their was a song that's started like this". and then every other creator rinses and repeats this way
I deleted TikTok over a year ago due to the amount of screen time I had and my attention span. I still think the ban is horrible cause it violates the first amendment and screws over small businesses and creators. But as a RUclips shorts creator, it would benefit a bunch of people in my space from the people coming over to Shorts and Reels. I have mixed feelings but overall, the TikTok ban is pretty screwed.
It’s not like they are ONLY addressing TikTok. We are focusing on hundreds of thousands of issues a day and we dedicate different government agencies and departments to those issues. Just because you’re seeing one thing on online media doesn’t mean that’s all the government is working on. And TikTok is a real concern. No matter how much TikTok can deny they are giving away our data, it was put into Chinese law that upon request of the Chinese government, any business sourced out of China MUST hand over any data they have and any data the government wants. And why the HELL would the Chinese not want 200+ million Americans data. Not taking that data would be like opening your door to a billion dollars and just burning it.

Bro this is entirely different from vine, its connects soooo many different people. It helps out small businesses and helps people that went through a tragedy. It has the best algorithm I’ve ever experienced. It showed people so much about the world and different cultures that we would never see otherwise. It taught me so much with life hacks, history, science, even math. We see news about places and events that mainstream media completely ignores. It’s not super biased or in the payroll of giant companies and rich people. It has made so many people wake up. With them taking this away, ( especially when Facebook steals WAYYY more data and sells it) it’s a spit on our freedom of speech. Then they go and lie to our faces showing us how dumb they think we our “this is not impeding on the first amendment”
