I'm not really familiar with the limitations on allies. Do you think there's play for a little cross-chaos gap filling like in the olden days? Excellent quick review. Makes me quite excited about my goats on wheels.
I love Gors - they actually hit decent with the right buffs. Daemonology is wildly powerful to help make them a little stronger. Ungors are chaff, but they're totally decent chaff for their points. I've been really thinking about how to make a block of them work, but I'm not there yet. For the interim, a little shooting goes a long way to also remove chaff models!
Great faction review overall!
Skirmish ungors with throwing spears is always good
I always had a lot of core.
Big blocks of gors and ungors and many units of hounds.
nothing changes then , but i do think they are better then in 8th (not hard )

Allies seem very good you need a leader for the group thought so kinda a cost tax
With the new charging/moving rules, do Beastmen want to exploit redirecting units as much as they needed to in 8th Edition?
Leadership is low, yes, but warband allows you to add your rank bonus to it.
What’s your take on Gors and Ungors? Chaff, core tax, or actually worth taking 100+ models in a 2k army?
Back then all of those were mandatory pretty much, i mean the beastmen specific units.
7x3 units. Or 10x15 strong. Much rather have 2 units of 20 verse a unit of 40
Ungors with bows are ok gors with anything solid troop

Thanks for the insight.
And yes i agree... something is REALLY wrong with the list... EXTREME LACK OF MORE MINOTAURS AND DOOMBULL!!>!
More Cow Bell?
Minos are good, as long as you can control them! I'd back them up with some chariots to make sure you can run down fleeing units!
