I'm a mother and I'm with Rickey. I'm sitting with the victim's family. And I'm not putting a DIME on my son's books EVER if he TRULY did it.

You know what she means. In this case she's talking about sitting with the victims mother & sibling. While Tim is blood related do you think Andre's family sees him as family now? At trial she can sit on her sons side to support him, or her grandson's mother side to support them. Yes, they're all family but Tim divided this family the minute he put a hit out on one of them.
I can't even speak on this. I have one son. God has blessed with this little life and it is an honor and a privilege to raise this young man. All I can do is pray right now. Because to think of something like this happening to my family would cripple me. Physically. Emotionally and socially.
I'm with Rickey it was her grand son it wasn't just some random person on the street. He was young and came to live with Robbie because his mom was afraid if he stayed with her Andre would end up dead like his father. Sent him right into the lions den.

It’s frustrating to hear Ms. Robbie say that. I honestly feel like if her son got away with her grandson’s murder, he would’ve killed her too. I know that’s her son, but he’s diabolical.

YES! #RickeySmiley years ago...and I'm a senior citizen...a man and his wife were visiting with my husbands aunt whos son had killed someone and was or had gotten dealt penalty, he said, that he was so heartbroken for the family of the guy. He said that he had been with them all day after the funeral and was trying to show them much love because his son knew better. They were the ones who needed his support at that time.

Once a child becomes an adult then, their no longer children. An adult who commits crimes and still has the parents support only makes the matter worse.

If memory serves, he was also plotting to have her killed--it's a wrap for me; "until death" could mean until her death. She tried to get him to reestablish his life after incarceration, and all he showed her was how ungrateful he is

I live in the STL, I've met Ms. Robbie, she's a very nice person, however I believe she's in denial! This is a tough situation because her son is accused of killing her grandson. I believe she doesn't want to face the truth, because the guilt would be overbearing. Andre, was only 21, he didn't have a chance to experience adulthood, which was a misfortune. In my opinion, Ms. Robbie love and loyalty is stronger for her son than grandson. In my opinion just because you're related to someone, it doesn't mean they are your family.

I will love you from across the room and whenever I am asked, I will tell the world I love you but you are wrong wrong wrong. In the meantime, I'm buying a new house in another state under a name that you don't know a thing about. If you ever make parole I'm disappearing because your wires are seriously crossed to do what Tim did and nobody -- not one person -- is safe around him. His baby momma should already have custody, restraining order and name change paperwork drafted and ready to go. My aunt was in a similar situation with her only son my 1st cousin and she took the victims side whom is his daughter my cousin as well. It was terrible what he did and he went to prison but he did that to himself. My aunt abandoned him in prison and took monetary responsibility for my cousin even paying for college. He was a state trooper and navy veteran who recently died in prison.

As a mother supporting a child going through something like this doesn't mean you condone the behavior, or the act, it means you are showing the love of Christ and his forgiviness towards others, and it doesn't mean you don't have feelings towards the victims family as your compassion, empathy, love, sympathy and support goes towards them as well. However, Ms. Robbie is on both sides of this, my prayers goes out to her and her family!

Well I don’t know about you all‘s mothers love, but the way my mother loved was hard! She was an extremely amazing mother, but she didn’t play any games! And she always told us if you go to jail/prison I will not be there to visit you and I will not be putting money on your books or taking your calls! She said if you choose to do the crime then you choose to do the time and I’m not doing it with you. And guess what, I’m 42 and a law abiding upstanding citizen as are my three younger siblings! We love our mother and want to see her so we didn’t go to jail or prison.
I told my son the same thing. I am not using my days of for no jailhouse visits and my money is my money. I told him I spent my money when he was a little boy. He a grown man. If he take a life and it is not self defense and please not my grandson throw away my number because I am not accepting any collect calls either.

Thanks for sharing, I’m from St Louis,I saw Ms. Robbie in a store, I sent over to her say hello, we talked like old girlfriends. I only knew her from the show. Just a sweet everyday person. We have to understand, all relationships are different. she is probably heart broken no matter what she does.

This is a hard situation. Supporting them even in the lowest of moments is just as hard as abandoning them. In this case she is standing against family. Who really knows how they are treating her for being the mother of a killer of family. I can see letting the son stand alone and I can see supporting the son all the way through.

It’s so sad for her because she is the victim’s family. To see her son and hear the story unfold on the slaughter of her grandson is enough to send anyone over the edge. But God!🙏 prayers for strength.

Amen Rickey. My grandmother didn't play that. My grandmother was more afraid of God than her own feelings. If you kill somebody intentionally, grandmother would not hold you up in your wrong. None of her kids went to jail cause they knew grandma wasn't coming.
I’m right there with you Rickey! I watched the show faithfully and was in total shock at the outcome of the events! Tim was lowdown! As his mother, he’d be in my prayers and loved from a distance. He behaved in a very heinous manner and she could still be at risk at any moment!
As a mother I know I could never not love my son
However, I’d also never co-sign if he killed my grandson

Lawd, and the son she’s standing by had the son of his own deceased brother (who was killed also I believe) murdered for money. He cheated his mother with her business, she had to sue him, he has his nephew killed for insurance money, and the sociopath smiled on his mugshot. Ms. Robbie is lucky he didn’t come for her too. Nothing but prayers for her because she’s lost both sons, a grandson, and who knows whether she’s even able to see Tim’s som at all. Too much…
I agree with you 100% There's no way I could even look at him the same!! If he would have his own relative killed, that says a lot about whom she sees as " Tim her son" but not the monster he is. She better be careful about what and whom she supports.
