I hate that Lego has forgotten about the double light saber hilt piece it’s the perfect piece for mauls saber but they never use it in fact it was made for his saber
A lot of people immediately notice the different lightsaber for Kylo, which was definitely a downgrade. The only reason I see that being done is because the actual lego itself was like that, as dumb of a change as it is. But one of the things that really bothers me is the cape. In TFA he had the actual Kylo cape, which WAS used on the actual lego as well. But in this game he just uses a regular cape for all versions, which makes the unscarred version feel no different from the scarred one, same with the regular helmet and repaired version.
I honestly think it’s better for more accurate Lego pieces. The cape is understandable but I feel as everyone are acting like babies over this, like who cares?
@@night6724 probably cuz the official minifigure of hooded kylo has a printed helmet, instead of an actual PROPER helmet entirely. Plus the printed head Is just bad tbh.
I wish the multiple weapons mechanic some characters had was kept for TSS (like Rey and Finn using a lightsaber and a blaster). It could’ve made for some fun and diverse gameplay. Only one I’ve seen with this is General Grievous.
Honestly, the only way it could work would be to officialize and fashion each characters ability and to put similar characters in a group which you can quickly access. Aside from this, it should only work like that, there should still be differences between each character.

Imma be honest, I prefer the fact that in The Skywalker Saga, the weapons were made to look like actual Lego pieces. Sure, the unique weapon designs in The Force Awakens were cool, but I've always found them... odd. Biggest examples of this are Anakin, Vader, and Kylo Ren's lightsaber hilts being designed to look like how they do in the movies, when no other lightsaber welders got that treatment (except for Palpatine, where even then, it was already an actual piece), and Kylo's blade not being one piece.
While most of the characters look better in Skywalker Saga, here are a couple of things I think Force Awakens did better: -Kylo's Lightsaber -Phasma's armor -Damaged Anakin's animations -FO Flametrooper's Flamethrower -FN-2199's stun baton -Mace Windu's white pant legs -IG-88's blaster -C-3P0's shine (and any other character that's supposed to be shiny, like Jango's armor plating, and R2's head) -Han's blaster's grip being brown -Slave Leia (for obvious reasons) Everything else, the Skywalker Saga did better. I never liked the cartoonish expressions in Force Awakens.
When I look at the comparisons it’s night and day to me. In the TFA, Chrome Phasma and Kylo’s lightsaber is nice but in TSS it’s more accurate to the actual Lego figure. Especially the animations and faces. Kylo and a few others in TFA look absolutely abysmal, it really is apparent they cobbled together different textures for the mouth and eyes which causes the characters to look uncanny and strange. Sometimes the mouth also looks to be way too close to the eyes. All of the character idle animations in TSS are much better as well, most with special molds in TFA like Jar Jar don’t have 3d animations for their heads, so it looks unfinished. Looking at the comparisons of farm boy Luke and Yoda, TSS are so incredibly expressive compared to the copy and paste versions in TFA. Even if you find the gameplay in TSS repetitive and easy anyone can admit that the new game is glorious in terms of graphics.

I like how they made unigue fighting style for each character, in TFA. And even the facial expression, every time thay attack. Yeah, in TSS each character does have his fighting style, but because of new fightnig system it can't be seen.

I might just be picky, but when they mention stormtroopers, did anyone else realize that they labeled actual stormtroopers as “classic”, and the first order stormtroopers as if they were the regular stormtrooper? I know this is a stupid thing to talk about, but I though it should be mentioned.
The only few problems I have with Skywalker saga is that all palpatines force lightning moves are just really short close range bursts, when the one thing he is most known about is his force lightning, and the attention to detail. Like in tfa anakins lightsaber has loads of details on it like the bit at the bottom, and in sws it's just a normal lightsaber like every other characters, palpatines lightsaber is now just a normal lightsaber also instead of being golden, all the characters lightsabers are the same (apart from kylo and maul ect) it just really makes me a bit sad to see how much they rushed this and wanted to get it out as fast as possible to make more money
I have mixed review on this game. For examples criticize changes, new gameplay, not have 2 players in PC, Palpatine's lightning different style and not having custom characters. But praise fighting style, DLC, boss battles, some of characters and levels. I wish this game is like LEGO DC Super Villains.

They actually removed reflections from some of the characters in armor, droids etc. (for example captain phasma, darth vader, C-3PO, R2D2 etc.)
Those reflections can hurt some people eyes and in some ocations do to the lighting they can blend with the environment soo easily is weird
