- We have had access to a very sensitive jobsite for an extensive period during which we could record our flagship crane the Terex ® CC 8800-1 TWIN in action at an ultra large scale construction project. Of course this took place in the scorching heat of Qatar, because no challenge is big enough for our cranes, let alone the CC 8800-1 TWIN. Really breathtaking.
It exists! I didn't think anyone actually owned and operated the crane, nice to see it in action.

I got to sit in the cabin of the first Demag 8800 Twin that Al Jaber purchased , this was in their Abu Dhabi yard. They worked with Terex over several years to design the capability of this crane. It is a stunning piece of engineering, I was working on the Al Raha Beach project at the time, and Al Jaber were gracious enough to allow a group of construction and safety managers a close look over the crane. I can still remember it clearly. Al Jaber are a first rate outfit and it is good to see their continued growth and success.
