Marriage is one of the seven Mysteries of our Church. The first marriage is law. The Apostle Peter defines the legitimate bond of man and woman for their whole life. The purpose of a Christian marriage is first of all, for the glory of God and secondly for the couple to possess sainthood. Moreover, a very important aim is the love between the married couple. Most of the wishes on the first marriage have to do with the bonding and the love between them. The second marriage is considered more as a weakness-defeat, and that’s why are imposed penalties of repentance and we read wishes of forgiveness and not blessing ones.
