Extraordinary flying skills from Flt Lt Matt Brighty - I was hanging onto the edge of the sofa as he twisted and turned at those speeds! I wonder how many windows he cracked last night in Bournemouth...Thanks again, Nikos and Ted for capturing this wonderful dusk display.

@@TedConingsby sad that Blackjack will be retired at the end of this year. Well, the flying hours will be up. I did hear that Shawbury has Typhoons stored there that are out of flying hours. How true it is I don't know. Someone commented on a Facebook post of mine a few months ago about it

I live in Essex and we used to have a Southend Air Show every year. That was cancelled a little over 10 years ago. Used to be nice seeing the Typhoon, Red Arrows, Battle of Britain bare minimum every summer. Haven’t been to an Air Show since. Although the Clacton and Duxford air shows are my nearest, I opted for Bournemouth Air Festival this year, and I had an absolute blast. Sincerely hope this Air Festival continues, I want to return and do it all again!
These engines aren't branded Rolls Royce, only 33% of its components were developed by RR. There is a reason that it is called Eurojet. Same applies to the entire aircraft, it's not a British design but a European.
Do you know what, this display was phenomenonal from the moment Brighty flew in and dropped down LOW! Re-Heats kick with that sky as a backdrop. Wow! Neons reflection on Blackjacks 4:13 Union Jack is just so effective. Best I've seen it look. I love ❤ this Typhoon Sounding brutal aswell. All in all the out and out Winner for me closely followed by Otto!! Magic Bournemouth 🎩 🪄 Look forward to next. Thank you to Brighty the Almighty Typhoon wizard. Ted, Reggie, Wingy, Clairebear and Nikos and The Spanner Flight, big thanks to you all. Love your Excitement Nikos and everyone else. Immense weekend had by all. Nice to See Margo! Too briefly.
