This short film is a result of a research project with funding from the Strategic innovation program IoT Sweden (iotsverige.se/). This film is launched together with a new project: City as a Platform - CaaP.
The film - just like the project CaaP - is based on the insight that regardless of size, the municipalities in Sweden have equal challenges around data management and it would be of great value if Swedish cities and municipalities cooperated around data and IoT platforms. 10 municipalities participate in the City as a Platform project. Through shared pilot projects based on a minimum viable framework of a data platform, issues, challenges and solutions are addressed jointly. One of the objectives of the project is that it should be easy to share and move services between municipalities.

City as a Platform samlar 10 kommuner (till att börja med) vilka kommer att utforska, implementera och samverka kring gemensamma IoT-plattformar som stöd för samhällsnytta i städerna. Projektet skall även säkra nationell förankring samt föreslå en nationell förvaltningsmodell av ett minimiramverk för dataplattformar, inklusive relevanta standarder.
