- Has the use of drugs among youths in Nagaland governed the citizens with concerns? As it can be said that the use of illegal drugs has gone up from previous years in Nagaland. Most of the engineered users are as reports youths who have highly been influenced by the use of this elicit drugs called sunflower in the market. The abusive use of this so called sunflower drugs by youths have become a major issue not just in Nagaland but in the northeastern states especially the border areas. Recent days has seen the rise of rampant sunflower drugs abuse in the Assam-Nagaland interstate border and in this regard, NLTV team has taken a special ground report on the issue. It has been observed that the activities of sunflower drugs were mostly supplied from Lahorijan tea garden areas and sold distributivity in different parts of Nagaland. The illegal activities reportedly have been taking place mostly between the evening and midnight hours particularly in the areas surrounding the Ghorapatti and the Niu colony railway track. According to the locals, the colony council and youths have made innumerable efforts to stop the abuse of drugs and sunflower drugs in particular, however it has had minimal to no effect so far.

i remember how a mutual friend brought it from a different state a few years back and most of my friends are now struggling addicts including some female friends too. i too got in the circle but with somehow managed to escape it which cost me a lot of bills and also relations (still struggling though) ...
it's not worth using it my brothers n sisters just because u have depression or some other unhealthy stuff going on in ur life, or ur fav celebrity star is tripping on it. not cool,really.
it will slowly consume and destroy all that is around you.

there's so many other ways to have fun rather than doing Drugs, liquor and one night stands are not the only way during teen and youth years ..

The first kid makes around 1k to 1.2k per day. That's a monthly earning of around 30k. That's enough for a kid like him. I hope he gets over his addiction and sets himself straight.

Bro, get registered from any Kripa center and starts OST immediately. It's the only option that can gives u relief. I was addicted of it more than two years but I made my mind to give it up and started OST and now I'm free from it. Get the hell out of it immediately bro. before it's too late. A police officer's job is to catch smugglers, however they are the ones who are smuggling/selling narcotics.
I'm not criticizing the entire police force here, but I do know some officers (through my friend) that are involved in smuggling.
Regrettably, I will soon be losing one of my good friends due to these drugs, have tried everything but he can't quit no matter what.

Most of the addicts can’t afford to go to rehab centres. It’s not proper to always rely on govt but I believe it’s high time for the govt to step in this.

Yaa that duplicate salman khan I remembered him too, I never ever forget the day he was beaten my friend just infront of me without any reason, in our bad luck is we went for the evening walk and unfortunately we meet him on the road, he stop us n started to beat my friend thank God one of man n his team he has a pure heart n he safe my friend he was request n talk him to leave us.

When we talk about addiction is vast subject but when we talk about the narcotics call sunflower overflowing in the particular area it's the failure of administration as well as society failure , our society had to wake up now before it damage to beyond repair it's like atomic bomb when it explodes we can't imagine many promising youth upcoming generation will be destroy financial crisis, relation break up , physical deteriorated, spiritual bankruptcy.
