- Today, I walked around the Old Town Market in Vlorë, Albania and made this vlog.
If you are looking for things to do, you could visit this interesting market.
There were so many different items here. Clothing, garden tools, kitchen appliances, toys, fruit, vegetables, meat, fireplaces, axes, jewelry, and pretty much everything else you could imagine!
While exploring, a few local people tried to communicate to me. I could understand some of the key concepts because some of the words are similar to english. But most of the time, I had no idea what they were saying. They were all friendly people and full of smiles!
Usually, I would stop and translate with my phone, but because I was holding a giant camera in my hands, it was almost impossible.

hi.! 😊 I think this market is small, but they sell a variety of goods. I don't see a lot of people going to this market. Or you're filming in the morning so people haven't gone to the market yet. there are many clothing stalls there. but they don't have anyone who knows english to serve tourists? This shows that the area is less touristy. they don't actively invite customers like I see in Southeast Asian countries. There is a lot of sunshine, but why are you so cold? Can't the temperature warm up at all? Can you buy anything at this market? Do they sell fixed or non-fixed prices? Do they accept US dollars or what currency?
- :-) this is definitely not a tourist area.. generally, the younger generation speaks more english. Despite the sunshine, it was cold. Please send me some heat! I'm not entirely sure about the prices. Nothing has a sign. You have to ask to get the price. 🙃

- my guess is that it is everyday except for holidays. Maybe there's one day per week, such as sunday, or they don't have this market. But this is their livelihood.. so my guess is that it is almost every day. 👍🏼
