Wow this is deep! 1. Society bases a woman’s worth on her husband but God showed Leah as valuable even though her husband did not love her. 2. See how God will bless you when you stop seeking validation from man but instead focus on praising God and your relationship with Him ❤️ Amazing lessons
To go even deeper. The Savior was born of the bloodlines of both Leah and Rachel. In the book of Ruth Naomi who was of the tribe of Ephriam lost her husband and both sons after moving to Moab. Her daughter-in-law Ruth loves her and followed her back to her homeland, then eventually marries Boaz. Boaz married Ruth as the Kinsman redeemer under the Levirate law meaning that Boaz's seed would be raised as the heir of Ruth's deceased husband instead of his own and Ephriam was born through Rachel. This is where the story gets facinating because the Melchezidek preisthood had been passed down from Adam, to Seth, Shem, Noah and so on. Jacob was given the priesthood after he was chosen over Esau, but it split up on his deathbed. This allowed Judah to be given the Kingship and Ephriam the priesthood. Well, the Savior being born physically through Judah and Spiritually through Rachel allowed Him to restore the office of Melchezidek being (King and Priest) as well as, unify the divided Nothern and Southern Kingdoms which were headed by Judah (Southern) and Ephriam (Northern).
Jesus give me strength. As a single mom and it is hard to have everything on my shoulders. Especially because both of my sons are special needs but despite the challenges I face it’s only because of GOD I MADE IT THIS FAR. I keep faith even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. Faith over fear. I love you Lord.

And she is beautiful in these pictures. Mind you. I have never thought about skin colour when reading my Bible. I more think about nations, tribes and language. Fact is, I don't know if we can for certain say what their skin colour was, except that they most probably look a lot like the middle eastern people, Arabic/Jewish
@Ali-dr9ly the Bible is all about black people. It's black history. Europe is only mentioned once in old testament and it's not a nice mention. White people don't start to show up till AFTER Jesus died and went to Heaven. That's why for hundreds of years if you were caught with a Bible you were burned on a stake. Then they started drawing pictures of whites to portray them as being in the Bible......but they just weren't
@lidetten what Arabic people look like now has nothing to do with what they looked like 2000 years ago. They were black and brown. White people did not enter the Bible until the new testament AFTER Jesus died. And they were mixed and white. After the Moors took over and built southern Europe they became mixed . In every single country now .leaders are portrayed as white . They never show the beuatiful black communities even now. They look more like home and are freer because of it so they are not loosing ANYTHING. THEY HAVE FREEDOM. WHY everybody is moving to Ghana now.......FREEDOM

I don't believe that's what the Bible is saying about Jacob as that man genuinely loved Rachel and labored to have her as his wife. He was deceived and then manipulated into marrying a woman(Leah) who he did not love nor was attracted too. Doesn't mean he didn't recognize her value, he simply didn't love her.
It wasn't Jacob's fault that he didn't love Leah. She was forced on him by her deceitful Father...you can't force love on anyone. Not even God faulted Jacob because Jacob was deceived. He treated Leah well, she had housing food, shelter and he gave her her martial rights. it's obvious from all the children she had, he just didn't love her..all the sorrow she suffered was her father's fault, not Jacob. That isn’t what the Bible says . It is talking about the Ancient of Days , God Almighty. It says his hair was white like wool and his feet was like burnished bronze in a fire . White in color not in r texture not the people even though many were people of color .
False. God is literally the LAMB! And the lamb's hair is what? WOOL. God does not mince words. He is THE WORD and every word He uses is with purpose. He meant what He said. Hair white like wool because it was the texture, not the color. He didn't say, white like corn silk. He is the Lamb! Remember that.
So what I have learned from Lea's Story is that God knows what's best for us. Jacob loved Rachel but not knowing what God had planned for him. Love this story

True. Where I buried Leah Genesis 49:29-32 After that he gave these commands to them: “I am being gathered to my people.*+ Bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Eʹphron the Hitʹtite,+ 30 the cave in the field of Mach·peʹlah in front of Mamʹre in the land of Caʹnaan, the field that Abraham purchased from Eʹphron the Hitʹtite as a property for a burial place. 31 There they buried Abraham and his wife Sarah.+ There they buried Isaac+ and his wife Re·bekʹah, and there I buried Leʹah. 32 The field and the cave that is in it were purchased from the sons of Heth.

This story used to make me sad but you pointed out some things I didn’t even know. I empathized so much with Leah and it’s great to know that Elohim didn’t forget her in life and even in death. Thank you so much for this breakdown. Have a great Shabbat!
*Wow, what an incredibly insightful video! You’ve beautifully highlighted Leah’s journey from being overshadowed to becoming a key figure in God's redemptive plan. Her transformation is so powerful, and it’s a reminder of how our worth is not defined by how others see us, but by how God sees us. I love how you’ve drawn attention to the fact that Leah’s faithfulness and strength led to the birth of Judah, which ultimately brought forth Jesus Christ. I’d love to hear more of your thoughts on how we can relate Leah’s story to our own lives today. Would you be open to sharing more of your reflections?*
You are very welcome. Leah's story is one of faith, endurance, trusting God, and allowing God to carry out His plan. We may seem overlooked, unfavored, and not know why God is allowing us to experience pain. However, through faith, endurance, and trusting in God, He turns our pain around for His good, but also for our own. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and your encouraging feedback. God bless you!
Im sorry I am still a learning the bible. The Leahs story made me kind of sad. I have not finished yet but her only purpose was just producing kids ? I understand she carried the lineage but she never found love ? Idk its hard not to long for a partner when you look around and see how easy it is for others. Maybe im looking at things wrong but i feel bad Leah I don't want to only find my purpose in child bearing to man who never loved me (talking about Jacob). Like why put a desire in her heart for someone to love her ? Stories like this its very hard for me to understand. It must have been incredibly hard for her. Like i stated earlier im still learning but I resonate with Leah as far as being the woman whose overlooked. I was hoping there was going to be more to the story . I know God does not call everyone to marriage or that our person finds us (if there even is anyone) . But why put that desire in our hearts ? Who doesnt want someone to love them ?
I understand where you're coming from and your observation is valid. Leah's story is one of redemption and I believe in her time, having children was perceived more honorable than it is now. However, I admit, we do not fully understand the ways of God, but lean in and trust that He knows what is best. I acknowledge it is easier said, than done. God bless you!
I totally understand what yours saying. We as people live lives that can be very sad if we just focus on us. I love when the Bible says that there is a peace that passes all understanding. We can only get that from Jesus. I started crying when I heard this… I had to stop the video but I love God and I know he makes no mistakes. The things we don’t understand we can talk to him about it. That’s what prayer is. I pray that you keep going and continue to trust God. Proverbs 3:5-7. God bless you🙏🏾
@@brendaschenk9390 You are absolutely right! Jesus/Yeshua is Shalom/peace. We cannot get that everlasting peace anywhere else. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and encouragement. May God richly bless you as well!
I think a lot of us can relate to Leah's story. It was a custom back then...and still is in some Middle Eastern countries now...that the oldest daughter, Leah in this case, was to marry first. Perhaps due to Leah physical issue with her eyes (some believe that her condition was Ptosis), her father made Rachel the shepherdess instead of Leah. He did that in hopes that Rachel's beauty (her face and her body was beautiful) would attract a husband. Husbands were an asset to the family. Leah was made to enter Jacob's tent at night while Jacob was drunk and pretend to be Rachel. Of course he was shocked to see this in the morning. He never loved Leah but there was a purpose for what happened. God's purpose. Women back then didn't think they're only purpose was to have babies. Having babies was a badge of honor especially if they had sons because sons are the backbone of the family, Times have changed but God never changes. His purpose of each of us is different and one day we will understand it. Like you stated, there is no promise from the Lord that we'd all marry BUT... "Whatever our lot he has taught us to say, it is well, it is well with my soul". Be blessed 🙏
Love...I'm starting to read and study more myself. The moral of the story is that she shifted her focus from a man who didn't love her to a God that adored her. When we truly realize God's love for us, acceptance from people doesn't matter. Stay encouraged. ❤
This story also shows how we can fail to love or choose what we need the most. This is why we must always pray for God's leading and guidance rather than being moved by sight. Laban's deception was definitely inspired by God to ensure fulfilment of God's purpose for Jacob and the world.
She was the real wife. Rachel was willing always be Jacob's Real Wife. The One he truly Fell In Love with. Jacob's uncle lied n tricked him. This all because Jacob followed his mother and lied n tricked his father. If he didn't he would of never been married to Leah.
This is so inspiring, teaches us to be resilient no matter what life throws at us. We’re more than conquerers and unique in our own ways, praise the Lord hallelujah 🙏
when you fight the will of God you waste time and strength trying to prove......... God wanted Jacob to be with Leah , she bore him 6sons and God Rachel 2 sons whom God didn't allow to raise she died after the birth of the second son. But Leah because God's love and will was upon her she lived on to see her children grow. Leah the mother of Israel, choosen by God, I love her story so much. even in rejection when God's favor is upon you success and happiness will eventually be your song

Thanks for sharing GLORY TO GOD
Amen 🙌🙌
Our Heavenly Father is Amazing ❤❤❤
Beautifully Illustrated 🙏🏽
Thank you for this feedback. God bless you!
Thank You Jesus. I am favored by God. I have learned so much about Leah..🙏🏾
Praise the Lord!
This is a blessing....shame she would never know just how important her life would be. Either way, I love and am encouraged by her.
Love this, God will not forget
Alleluia. Thank you for this video. Beautiful story. God Bless.
You're welcome. God bless you!
Awwwnn. So touching...May God bless you Sir
Thank you and God bless you!
She was blessed also because she was his wife , the real wife ; God inteneded for one man and one woman
Yes. Amen!
She was the real wife. Rachel was willing always be Jacob's Real Wife. The One he truly Fell In Love with. Jacob's uncle lied n tricked him. This all because Jacob followed his mother and lied n tricked his father. If he didn't he would of never been married to Leah.
The word says that Jacob, he loved Rachel.
ELOHIM loved Leah which is the realest love!
@@TempleCleanerSisterNacresha Amen!

Amen Glory be to God!!!!!🤲🏾
when you fight the will of God you waste time and strength trying to prove.........
Yes, her story is one of redemption and God's love. Love it as well! God bless you.
