@Jelly Bean KD is a better 1-on-1 athlete, but this game is a 5-on-5 competition, and Curry spaces the floor so well with his three-bombs, Durant doesn't get Finals MVP without Curry on the team. Probably doesn't even win a championship. Durant was the more popular closer in those games, slowing Lebron while scoring in bunches, but it wouldn't have happened without Curry. Look at the 2012 finals. Or look at the highlights where KD got a wide open fast break dunk...because Lebron ran out of the way to close out on Curry fast break corner 3.

    • @budgethobby92

@Jelly Bean because with steph on the team ppl focus on steph and leave kd open on iso.

Steph said something very key and I am very surprised GSW never figured it out right after game 1. To easily defeat the Celtics and get rid of them, GS need to use the Celtics aggression against them. Celtics are very reactive on defensive and that makes them vulnerable to getting into foul trouble and penalty. The warriors need to take it hard to the hole and draw the contact. They need to use that hop-step in the middle then pump fake and the Celtics will fall for it because they are very reactive. Get Marcus Smart out the game easily because he is a hacker.

The celtics are the more physical team, but the Warriors have Curry. Gushing with his leadership style and effectivness when he needs to pick up the slack. But he really works to get his team involved first. And then when its do or die he takes over and kicks butt, love that about him. MVP.

This man Curry is the best basketball player I ever seen. MJ was the only person other then curry to change the game. Mj made dunking popular even when Jordan had the flu he won, curry come off a injury get 43 in a finals game, everybody else at home watching so yeah.
