Imagine if they let you right click 2 minecarts while holding chains/lead to link them together to make a train. Chains could be less flexible, and slow it down more, but are strong and don't break easily, while lead breaks easier, but is more flexible, and don't slow down the train. That would be epic.
they should bring the furnace cart back into the creative inventory on bedrock and then have chains connecting the carts from the furnace cart you can make a huge freight train with that three furnaces at the front as pulling engines one in the middle to help push and two at the back to make more push. then go chug chug down this track to nowhere.
I do think it's a shame that they never fixed the furnace minecart but it allows us to build some really neat contraptions because of how broken it is so you win some, you lose some I guess. It is still really neat though…

Here are some ideas that would improve the minecart system: Connected minecart: you can now connect minecarts with leads and chains, although you can only connect 3 minecarts Diamond minecart: crafted with the 5 diamonds, the diamond minecart would be slightly faster than a normal minecart, although it's stunning look is already worth the price Gold minecart: crafted with 5 gold ingots, the gold minecart would be the fastest minecart, however it would also be very fragile, and would break in impact with a wall in a fast speed or by falling fron a high place Netherite minecart: crafted with 5 netherite ingots, the netherite minecart would be the most expansive minecart, but don't go thinking this is the best minecart, as it have its downsides, the netherite minecarts is incredibly heavy and strong, having the hability to damage mobs that are on it's path and being lava resistent, although the netherite minecart is the slowest of all, being slighly slower than a normal minecart New rails: Wooden rails: crafted with 6 planks and 1 stick, you would craft a wooden rail, this rail by right clicking in this rail, it would keep being placed, like scaffolding, having the hability to be suspended in the air, although i don't recommend crossing this rail while suspended in the air with a netherite minecart, it might break Ice rails: with 6 iron ingots, 1 stick, and two ice blocks, you would craft a ice rail, this rail makes you go super fast, just like a boat in ice, although it would melt if exposed in the sun in not cold places, imagine this rail + gold minecart Ender rails: with 6 enderanium shards, and 2 sticks, you would make an ender rail, this new rail could teleport your minecart to the nearest ender rail if activated with an ender pearl or eye of ender, although the ender rail will nto be abel to detect rails that are too far Intersection rail: with 4 iron ingonts and 5 sticks, you would craft an intersection rail, with this rail, you can connect rails in all 4 directions Deceleration rails: with 1 rail, 2 coals and 2 redstone torches, you would craft the deceleration rail, this rail decelerates your minecart Jump rail: with 1 rail and two slime balls, you would craft the jump rail, this rail would be activated when it senses a minecart moving above it, making the minecart jump, the high and lenght of the jump depends on the speed of your minecart

idea: booster minecart it should be a furnace minecart, but just better u can go in it and boost it with coal (basically a furnace minecart and a normal minecart stuck together) minecarts behind it gets connected the furnace minecart’s functionality should be changed to be like a moving furnace (can smelt stuff) also crafting table minecart and bed minecart
most people doesn't know its use even veteran players thought they are useless and their only functionality is pushing carts tbh this is the first time i discovered you can also pull other carts it just never cross my mind even tho it make sense since that's how real life coal train works
I wish they just fixed the derail detection, the cnnection is nly supposed to break on 90° turns, but stay firm on 45° turns, but its just really unstable and glitchy, and their ability to connect is also why the infinite power glitch is possible, the fronts connect and so do the backs, causing it so when one minecart moves, the others are pulled, which pulls the first minecart, in an endless pushing loop
1:35 i discovered a glitch where if you place a huge bunch of TNT minecarts ontop of an activator rail, power the activator rail then make then move, when they explode it glitches out oeaving a perfect patterned huge explosion
But train stations can be possibly made by minecraft logic. Like stack but any player can join in and a bit of push voila and less rails needed rail's use should be in turning in corners

Imagine if in the cave update they add more minecarts. Minecarts are already super useful and it would be so cool to have more of them!
There is quite some potential to make minecraft into a little rail simulator. Connecting mine carts, points/switches and a proper locomotive
Here are some ideas that would improve the minecart system:
Connected minecart: you can now connect minecarts with leads and chains, although you can only connect 3 minecarts
