Hi. Would you please help me gauge my exposure from X-ray? I got x rays done and on the screen it stated 2.5 msv or maybe mas. I was told my X-ray was at 2.5 mas each but no one could explain to me how that translated into radiation amount. Thanks

@@GeneralRadiology Hi in this Document ehs.umich.edu/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/Technetium-99m.pdf
I can't guarantee that this document is Legal Radiological Safety Guidance from this university
on page 2 we can see that from the inverse square law the Exposure rate on the first meter from the source is
10 000 times smaller than the first cm from the source can we say that if we have the initial activity of any source on the first meter the Exposure rate will be 10 000 times smaller from the numbers and then divide this number from m to m with the law, this exposure. For instance if we calculate some initial activity of...something only by numbers like exercise. Because I know the law but I didn't know how to start to decrease the exposure or how to find the exposure on the first meter. And on the first cm if we have only numbers not real measurements how much we need to decrease to reach the first cm from the source ... or this is negligible
