This is the first year that I'm really in Crpto and although I'm not in a position to even think about giving an inheritance, from what I see you are probably on to something with ICP as a long term hold and I will be looking to lock a little up for myself since I may have about a 10yr retirement horizon.

It's token distribution is fine. It's not decentralized because the network is run by centralized nodes that collude together. No room for honest competition that would allow competing decentralized culture to take hold eventually.

Do more research on your own, i got a bag on 8 years. My plan is basicly to never dissolve it, just take out the gains when price is high and restake when its low.. holding a liquid bag at this coming bullrun might be smart tho. But in the long run i believe you will never regret it. But DYOR ofc.. also follow dfinity and maybe one more so you dont have to vote manually. You still can tho. But its Nice to know votes will be made automatic
