We read about a “combine” in my son’s Cars “Go, Go, Go” book by Disney Pixar and wanted to learn more about it. Thank you for taking us into your world of farming and teaching us about the combine harvester🙏🏾
One of the things that amazes me about a combine is the wide variety of grains that a single machine will harvest simply by changing out the header. Not only is the shape and size of the grain different, the stalk that the grain grows on is dramatically different. The people who design, engineer and produce work on an astounding piece of equipment.
Thank you for sharing your farming journey I love anything farm related. I am a small TN cattle farmer but it would be a dream of mine to work on a big farm out where y’all are. Farming is a passion of mine
Pepper cat reminds me of the cat we had a few years ago. Boots was his name and he was a lap cat like pepper. If I sat in my chair to watch TV he would be right there to jump on my lap. He liked it better if I had a light blanket to throw over us. I always enjoyed his company. The kittens are sure growing up fast. Gage sure is handy to have help you all do things. Grant you are a lucky man to have such great help on the farm.
harvest time is the pinnacle of your channel since during that time we are treated to more personalized, arm's length videos that at any other time. Laura, you are the most remarkable young woman on You Tube and all in the best of meanings and definitions.
I enjoyed seeing the 'inside' of the Combine Harvester. Have no clue to which does what! But what has surprised me is the 'remains' that the combine leaves. It just does not look like 'enough'. Again, thank you so much for your videos.
Go steady and safe! 😊 I know weather may interfere at times, but compared to your parents and grandparents were sometimes still harvesting in late November or December! It's not fare of me to even consider comparing to history, but just always be thankful for whatever roads they've paved for you!❤❤🙏🙏💯🇺🇲🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🌽🤠
Thanks Laura for giving us a look in the back of the combine, that's one of those grey areas no one sees and I did wander how you line the truck up for the corn drop. 👌
are you watching on utube or somewhere else...i cant seem to fine the new ones just older ones of which mostly i have already seen... i guess i dont know how to navigate this page
You guys do a good job of doing maintenance and prepping your equipment for the day. Glad you are cutting Corn again . Take Care working on the farm. Hopefully Pepper and the kittens are doing well. Out
We never bored laura and in some content i never skip video so keep going and keep going nobody will stop you we inspire always sometimes my ego will get me again and again but your content show me success that's why keep it up because we love your content and we watch your contents
Never too tired to watch Pepper with her kitties. Nice to fulfil your contracts and now the rest of the corn can be stored in silo for the right market price. Happy Halloween for the fun costumes and candy. Not so much for the message.
Gage is a better man than I am. He is such a good man. If it was me there would be down corn and the irrigation pump will not shut off by the time Grant gets back. Ole Lord.
Great job everyone harvest is a long job but I always loved it to old now but really enjoy your videos Grant and Laura and crew including pepper. Looking forward to the finish and whats next.
You know what? I’m going to miss your daily updates. By the end of your harvest, I don’t know what I’m going to watch over my breakfast? Just like you guy’s, I’ve got into a routine and will miss the daily life of you guy’s and Pepper. I hope you achieve your personal goal of 500.000 subscriber’s, I’m sure you will. All the very best to you both from the Sunny Isle of Wight. UK.
I love the harvest content. I grew up in Maine working on lobster boats and we always had a horrendous grind in the fall as well so I feel you on 47 days straight ❤
Keep on grinding. We're supposed to have a dusting of snow tomorrow. 46 days. Once it's done and you're putzing around with the maintenance and looking at seed catalogs and going to shows? You'll be able to rest a little bit. Farm shows will be here before you know it! Keep Pepper the way she is. 😊 A farm cat. Glad the kittens all have homes and some have gone.
Hello lovelies, I always have to be amazed when I see your huge corn fields. As I understand it, 46 days pass from the beginning of the harvest to the end of the harvest. With such huge machines, the fields in Germany would be very fast. Harvested empty although there are also large fields.🙋🏽♂️😘
Wow, how cool to look at a harvester from the inside, the guy who invented this machine must be a genius, who must be the inventor of the first harvester, what with the beautiful winter sun, you gave the kittens they are very young, Poor little kittens and pepper lost their little ones
Laura, my guess was 52 days because of the downtime break downs, THAT A BOY to Cage for his computer skills a BIG MUST in today's farming operations. MEOW to Peppers and best of luck with the kittens and their NEW HOMES...350 acres get some rest Grant and Laura.
Put a wireless blutooth camera on the truck dump so the alignment can be seen in the cab without getting out of the truck. There are those that can attach magnetically.
NEVER leave a running hose unattended!!! if the nozzle falls out of the tank, or the auto-stop trigger doesn't work, $25-30 per minute can add up REALLY fast...
Yep, seen it happen at a gas station, although they were pumping diesel. Signs EVERYWHERE don’t leave pump unattended. EMTs did. I happened to be walking by , the nozzle was on the ground spewing diesel. I shut it off and went inside to pay for my gas. Told the EMTs, they didn’t seem too concerned about it. Not even a thanks. smh
You should look into having an automatic tarping system installed on the grain cart it’s better than wrestling with the crank and and trying to roll the tarp straight with it wanting to roll lopsided
Window washing should be included in your basic maintenance schedule each morning as you fuel up the equipment. one company that i worked for had to do each each morning or the trucks wouldn't be allowed to leave the yard.
46 days of harvest. Y’all should get a harmonica and practice playing along with Muddy Waters song 40 Days And 40 Nights. Harp player Little Walter was raised in my old hometown before moving to Chicago. Gage could install you a fine stereo in the combine.👍😂🎸🙏🏼✌️
One of my cats, Miss Stripes...she isn't even a kitten anymore and she's like 10-1/2 pounds! But...she climbs on me all the time anyway!!! She likes to get rides while standing across my shoulders.
As an older person, I find if there is a long list of things to do before using a tractor or other large equipment having a Smart Phone Mine is an iPhone I make mine lists in Notes so I do not overlook items that are needed to be checked or cleaned before starting my job without missing items you will see or have issues later in your day 🥶
That sunset at 11:40 is just amazing! Also, that was a really cool look inside the combine. I've never seen that view before.

Grant that sweet little girl of yours, Laura is such a little blessing to you and to the viewers of her channel. She is just precious.

Stay warm up there. Hope your doing good on the harvest

Gage is a “Rock Star” an awesome hard working young man.😊

Wow! 46 days, and I know some of them were long days that extended into the night. Hats off to y'all for all of your hard work.
Add they didn't work at least 2 weeks of it.
I enjoyed seeing the 'inside' of the Combine Harvester. Have no clue to which does what! But what has surprised me is the 'remains' that the combine leaves. It just does not look like 'enough'. Again, thank you so much for your videos.
Great Video. Be happy and keep smiling.❤❤❤❤
Thanks for the peek inside of the combine. I am fascinated with big machines and loved the inside look.
Wow, that is a lot of days harvesting the corn. I totally see you having two combines and two of everything eventually to make things faster.
Go steady and safe!
😊 I know weather may interfere at times, but compared to your parents and grandparents were sometimes still harvesting in late November or December!

Frail mower is my first thought on the chopper section! It's very neat how combine works! A rolling processing facility.
Thank you I have been asking how that worked!!!!
Your videos are great! Show us about the lockouts and the safety procedures. Gage put in the Gauge...
Hopefully the weather plays nice to get the harvest done.
Thanks Laura for giving us a look in the back of the combine, that's one of those grey areas no one sees and I did wander how you line the truck up for the corn drop. 👌
You need to add the window washing equipment to your fuel truck so you don't forget to wash the windows every time you fuel.
Congrats on the Harvest 2023! Couple more days...
Glad for your sake that the snow was light. 😀 🥰for Pepper😸
46 days. That is amazing. I have watched every harvest video this season. I have watched all of your other videos as well.
are you watching on utube or somewhere else...i cant seem to fine the new ones just older ones of which mostly i have already seen... i guess i dont know how to navigate this page
"👍" and Gage did his duty above and beyond, go on him, I think he's a keeper....
12:38 Miss Pepper is supervising.
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
You guys do a good job of doing maintenance and prepping your equipment for the day. Glad you are cutting Corn again . Take Care working on the farm. Hopefully Pepper and the kittens are doing well. Out
Hope the snow hasn't affected the harvest!! A cool sunset when you were collecting the irrigation pipes.
We never bored laura and in some content i never skip video so keep going and keep going nobody will stop you we inspire always sometimes my ego will get me again and again but your content show me success that's why keep it up because we love your content and we watch your contents
Fascinating glimpse into the world of agriculture! I had no idea what goes on inside a combine harvester. Thanks for the educational video.
Never too tired to watch Pepper with her kitties. Nice to fulfil your contracts and now the rest of the corn can be stored in silo for the right market price. Happy Halloween for the fun costumes and candy. Not so much for the message.
Not so much for the message! I heard that
Installing and picking up those irrigation pipes is a stout workout for your hamstrings due to the amount of walking backwards that you all do.
Gage is a better man than I am. He is such a good man. If it was me there would be down corn and the irrigation pump will not shut off by the time Grant gets back. Ole Lord.
Laura and to everyone involved in your harvest, thanks for sharing and good luck for a quick and smooth finish! ❤
Great job everyone harvest is a long job but I always loved it to old now but really enjoy your videos Grant and Laura and crew including pepper. Looking forward to the finish and whats next.
Laura and Grant. You have taken a big chunk out of your last corn harvest. You didn't need to haul it very far this time.
Love from Mike. ❤
I love you Laura, please don't let movie making consume you and your time.
You know what? I’m going to miss your daily updates. By the end of your harvest, I don’t know what I’m going to watch over my breakfast? Laura has really mastered the ladder for refueling.
Thanks for the interesting information you gave us as a lesson in farming.
I love your show Laura you are a great educator and a loving wife farmer and fur mama
Grant and Laura, how about some cooking lessons? Show us how you cook your favorite Farm Meals!
Wow, how cool to look at a harvester from the inside, the guy who invented this machine must be a genius, who must be the inventor of the first harvester, what with the beautiful winter sun, you gave the kittens they are very young, Poor little kittens and pepper lost their little ones
Your lives are very interesting and full. I enjoy watching the ways You handle everything!
I broke out the John Deere manual, looked hi and low, but no luck finding "Shakey Parts" listed in the breakdown. Lol 🤣
“Shakey Parts” - tech talk.
BOO to Grant & Laura!.lol hope your having a happy spook night, and thank you for all you do to let us ride with you.
Was interesting to see the inside of the combine, would love to have a more detailed description of how it works.
❤❤❤Did your coffee show up? Tell us Grant brings you coffee, flowers, and candy all the time! ❤❤❤😊
Your next fuel trailer needs to have a water tank and power washer on it to keep the equipment windows clean during harvest.
Really cool getting a look inside the combine! Mechanisms always interest me. 😃👍
Goo team! You are almost done!😊 Looks like fun!

Thank you for your content. May God bless you all.
Love all your videos, I worked with a farm contractor here in the UK
I am glad you said it an arm workout . Untarping looks like an arm workout .
Sorry to see the kitties going. I was hoping they would be your crazy cat lady starter kit 🤣. I'm happy to see harvest winding down as well.
Its so fun to watch. Thanks for making the video ❤
also when ur done with the equipment for the year, I suggest u thoroughly clean the combines so u have no critters live in them thru out the winter
I got one of your work jackets, and it is very warm. I went shooting the other day, and it was 23 degrees out.
That is soooo cool Laura.... I learn so much on this site... Thank You
That fuel cart is a great addition to an operation - saves a lot trips
Great video , thanks
thanks for showing us the inside of the combine.
Your near the end of harvest now...stay safe you all
Looking good be safe
Enjoyed watching the video Laura and Grant 😊

Third. Clover was worried about Pepper and kittens, she is relieved to know the cats have a heated bed.😊
One of my cats, Miss Stripes...she isn't even a kitten anymore and she's like 10-1/2 pounds! But...she climbs on me all the time anyway!!! She likes to get rides while standing across my shoulders.
Laura you guys are awesome! Love your videos. I haven't missed one in a long long time.
Great video, guys. Keep up with the amazing work.
Laura, can you give us some numbers on your production this year... was it above or below your expectations?
thank you
Great job Another Awesome video keep up the great work !!!!!!
Reunited and it feels so good!!
Message for Gage and yourself (for writing him references); he's not just "a farmhand" but a computer technician in his own right.
Nah. He's not just a "computer technician", but a competent farmhand in his own right. ;-)
I said he is good man😊
Just pray for me then. I need prayer. Jht
These days, that is a farmhand…
Love Laura. What a beautiful person. 💛🌽
Great video blessings from Martinsville Indiana BTW we love cat's so yummy with biscuits and gravy

Yeah, you almost need a checklist. Fun Fact: the B-17 bomber is/was recognized as the first plane to use a pre-flight checklist.
Laura 493 thousand subscribers outstanding ❤
when you asked how many days I figured 25. It will be more than double that when you finish. Do the on site bins have a dryer for wet corn?
God's speed with your crop harvest. Brad n kalifornia
You done a great job
You are welcome
