  • There's a disappointing amount of information available about the Miles and Milner act online, so I thought I'd upload what recordings I have.
This is Miles and Milner performing on Radio 4 in the BBC Radio Young Writers Festival 1988, alongside Simon Munnery and Steve Coogan. This cabaret show, entitled "The World Made Fresh" was (most likely) the first time any of them had appeared on radio.
If anyone has any more information, saw them live, or have any recording I would very much appreciate it if you could comment below or send me a PM on cookdandbombd. My username is Saltyfries!
(If you happen to have a tape of Beethoven's Not Dead I will literally pay you for a copy.)

Thanks for posting this. Heard about these guys from an interview with Stewart Lee talking. Interesting to hear!

They played at our teacher training college back at the start of the 90s, I still have a promo photo that we were sent by Avalon, their management company. They also had Tim Vine who we booked, and Al Murray and Frank Skinner who we didn't..

I had a tape of this, but I can't locate it! I recorded the programme because I was at university with a lot of these guys, including Simon Munnery.
