Damn, the water isn't good. It is very rusty. How do they cook it? I wasn't expecting it to be like this, or the water only has some spice so it's such a color I don't know, but that's really disgusting

The chicken and eggs look good. I noticed the water was brown @5:12 instead of clear when adding it to the noodles. It’s a good thing they fried them later on in case there was bacteria in the water, not sure if they did it for that reason, but good thing they did. Nice teamwork everyone.👍🏼😋🤗😊😊

THE WATER IS CLEAN, NOT DIRTY!!!
If you bother to look carefully, you will note that the water they use to wash the chicken legs and the eggs starts out PERFECTLY CLEAN. After they finish rinsing those items, that water is cloudy (as it should be), but NOT BROWN.
The water they pour from the bucket into the large wok at 4:24 and that they use to boil the eggs is perfectly clean. At 4:28, they add a large ladle full of what appears to be rice vinegar to the water they are using to boil the eggs. The water they use to later on to rinse the cooked eggs also starts out clean, but gets cloudy after they rinse the eggs while shelling them.
The water they use to cook the noodles is brown, but IT IS NOT DIRTY OR CONTAMINATED. The explanation is obvious if you bother to pay attention. The noodles come with curry seasoning in foil packets and what appears to be an orange colored liquid (probably some spicy oil) in plastic packets. You can see them separating the separating the seasoning packets from the noodles and collecting them at 1:49. Later, at 3:09, they are separating the orange oil packets from the other seasoning packets.
Since they are invariably using clean water for everything else, the logical inference is that the water that they are using to cook the noodles has already had the curry seasoning packets and/or the oil emptied into it. In other words, having used clean water throughout, they are now cooking the noodles with SEASONED water, not waste water. They just did not show them dumping the packets into the water.
These people are ignorant AF. This is how my family season & flavor our eggs and noodles too. We use soy sauce actually. That is why the water is brown.

@@bettyboop8559 It ain’t dirty water. They seasoned it beforehand. I know you can’t understand what they’re saying. I do. This is how the country people do this. In the states, we just put them diluted soy sauce water to simmer in. There are diff methods.

Its a culture thing. She probably wasn't well and she probably rub tiger palms ointment and rub it with a coin after. Most Cambodian use that method.
She eats all sorts of things probably food poisoning or some rash from walking and eating off the trees in the bushes. She doesn't wash the fruits she picks from the trees.

No, that’s not it. It’s a common practice many Cambodians believe can “scrape bad wind” to the surface of the skin to restore the body to health it’s called kor kha yai. They rub the skin vigorously with a thin coin. It’s also called coining.

But I also understand their language cuz these are my people. They DON’T use dirty water. That’s the most asinine statement ever. They may be country folk but they do have access to clean water.
