about 10 years ago i played a lot oof melee with some buddies in college. one would always use marth and i would pick link. i remember him getting very frustrated that link's fair beat marth's nair because he was one of the few that could if you got the timing of it right.
The fucking confidence and technical ability of Aklo. The link-fox combo is truly legendary and he is easily becoming one of my favorite players to see in a top 8.

@@poleon2003 Marth has always had a weird time with the mid-tiers. HWM himself pointed that out years ago. You actually have to learn the match-ups, and can't just go "top tier mode" like the spacies and Sheik can.

Just raw, great Melee. Probably one of three matches EVER that it did not matter who won. I main Link, and MAN did it feel amazing to see him at this level, but Zain is one of my favorites. Both are champions IMO.
I really want to see other players start doing counter picks. I feel like it's the aspect of the game with the most potential growth. Like, how much better does Schwab have to get with Fox? There's for sure room for him to grow but imagine if he had a Link in his pocket to bring against Zain.
