If you look in the bottom right corner of the screen and if there is a tiny angry face then your game has crashed and you need to restart it or it will continue to “break”. I would also manually save frequently and , yes, remove the cloud saving will help prevent glitches.
i never opened sandbox mode but had a same problem, my starter home completely broke. though reloading didnt do anything so i just decided to not look at that house ever again and buy a new 'base' home
Vanilla is also broken, tried to demolish a wall and the hammer reacts like there is no wall too demolish. Stopped playing until this is fixed, if it is anything like HF 1 we will be waiting a very long time.

Now I’m waiting to play the game on 3/21 on console to see if it’s better. I enjoyed house flipper 2 better than the first one.
I'm having no end of issues with this game unfortunately. It crashes constantly, or I have to force the close. A house I worked on in sandbox for a week has just. . . Gone. In the main game I worked on a house and sold it, but the money from the sale is gone, the money spent on renovation is gone, the house is back in my inventory in its original state and if I try to sell it or go to a different screen, the loading screen freezes and I have to forceably close. I'm not a gamer as such, I just enjoy this game, but I think I give up with it now
Frozen District is a really small company (I think less than 50 people), and It's easy to hit on them for bugs and stuff while they do their best to fix a game game that came out 3 months ago, on a regular basis (already 2 or 3 patches since the game came out and more on the way). Meanwhile in the Sims 4, the 10 year old base game or some packs that cost more than HF2 and came out years ago are still broken (dine out, wedding stories, ...), the latest packs / kits and basegame updates don't work, brought more bugs than features, and yet there's no video on your channel about how broken the Sims 4 is, not even recommending people to not buy those kits / packs if they don't want to lose or corrupt their saves. EA advising to "not use the features" of the jewels kit (basically not playing with it) until it's fixed, is just lame to stay polite.

Did you report the bug? I've reported one once, and not sure how it works after you report it. My game stopped saving and I lost a lot of work 😢

Everyone arguing about wood floors is very funny, my irl kitchen and bathroom have tiled floors that look like wood and it surprises people lol

This game makes me nauseous when I play it but I can watch other people play it. Kinda odd.
Maybe it's because the game has the feature "motion blur" on, you can turn it off, I think that will do
