How do you know that 90% have no clue what true opera technique is? And 90% out of which crowd? Be more careful with comments of that sort, as they consist of generalizations only.
When this is your standard for a baritone voice, then it is clear that Pertusi, d’Arcangelo, Schrott are baritones and Alaimo, Spagnoli are tenors. This is the way it should be.

Comme vous le dites da l'inizio a molitissimo migliorato., peut être l'âge et le temps ont amélioré les choses ou alors a t'il trouvé un bon maître qui l'a remis sur la bonne voie. Au plaisir de relire vos observations concernant d'autres interprètes .Sincères salutations.

Coaches and conductors are a dime a dozen. As I suspect with your comments about singers, you are not well liked by them.
