Every episode, I think this is the best show yet, the best renovation yet. What lovely, deserving people that find you. And you do, you and your fine crew MAKE IT RIGHT! Thanks for the good programming as you do your fine work. Yes, the song was really cool, too.
You do so much, and I have learned a lot about making things right... The firs time. I'm now looking for a new place (or remodel my current one) and plan on doing things right from the inspection to the finished work. Thank you Mike.
22:27 Damon and his partner checking the level of the ceiling… 22:46 Mike saying “Damon let me show you”, either they mixed up the time on editing the show or mike is taking credit for Damon’s catch on the unlevel ceiling.
IMO, 8" floor joists, that are really closer to 7" floor joists are not strong enough even at 12" centres for a 12 ' span. Try 10" joists at 12" centres. And no, I would NEVER use OSB for sub-floor, 5/8" tongue and groove at minimum.
Mike Holmes, did you actually use a table saw without a kick back post and blade safety cover, and not even a safety push stick!? Not a good practice for a "professional" yet alone anyone. Thank You for sharing another good Holmes video!
@@zelbinian Not yelling, no caps! Just making note for today's viewer that even a professional can cut corners, but shouldn't, when it comes to safety. Also, mike is still around today and I hope he has improved on safe use of a table saw!
I don't know how you can promote someone on here that complains about other's people work but several of his own house he built are slated for demolition because of Deficiencies or it did not pass code.
he didnt build them, he endorsed a company, third line homes. who built them subpar, the homebuilder themselves is being sued. he essentially sold his name for marketing. nothing else. yet everyone blames him because his name is on the sign. i've seen the court filings. his name is nowhere on them.

Mike Holmes has been inspiring me to make it right the first time for decades now. Thanks Friend
Love that song!! Awesome job as always, Mike!!
Loved the closing montage with the music!
omg that little girl was just so adorable "make it right mike"
The song and Mike's work are both hits!
Loved the song. The guy has a nice voice to listen to. Be kind to each other. Stay safe. Love to all

To Paraphrase what we used to say in the Auto Business. Lift the Chimney Cap and drive a new house under it.
Mike and crew always make it right!
I love those kitchen cabinets
Will Mike Holmes I believe that should be your signature sound end song
Gorgeous, Beautiful done right
"Shut up!" Love that.
Permits for everything when you break into structure. Especially plumbers and electricians. And their work must be inspected before closing up walls.
Mikes make it right song hits all the notes for his show.
The wife seems very down to earth with a good sense of humor.
I don't understand how people don't get that water runs downhill, even if they're not plumbers. Common sense in my book.
My version of "Murphy's Law" is "What ever can go wrong, will go wrong, at the worst possible time."
So so true!
I love Paul's axiom: You can't fall off the floor!!
Nancy said I will teach you next time to make me the Project Manager!😂😂😂

I can't believe Holmes did not sister up the floor joists to level out the floor and ceiling. I would have and it wouldn't cost that much.
Mike, you’ve done it again from a fan in Australia make it right

Theres an old saying when the framing is bad everything else that follows will be bad
They are way too relaxed about how much crap they got from their "friends".
DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME- NO EXCEPTIONS ACCEPTED!
Should've used that song to replace the show's theme music.
Husband and wife seem like great people, but man oh man, what a terrible color to choose for their walls-light green!?! Really!?!
Must look at this way to each their own.

it's really not uncommon, certainly not recommended but it happens
You're also yelling at a Mike Holmes from 25 years ago lol

Sounds like Mike is ready to pull his hair out and go sit down somewhere and quit at least for a minute or two
The male homeowner the husband sounds like Forrest Gump
Mamma always said; ‘life is like a box of chocolates Forrest, ya never know what you’re gonna get’.
Yes. I doubt he is originally Canadian!
