Prognosis missed the start by 3 lengths, circled the field with 1200m left and then got planted 3 and 4 wide. It wins by 2 lengths with any other ride.
Wake up from your dream brother. At 1400-1500 meters when jockey positioned Romantic Warrior one out one back, the race was already over. I watched live race and didn’t have much hope when he was left 3 wide but when he got into his favorite position, I just switch off TV cuz I know the race is already done.
Prognosis!! Missed the start by 4 lengths, then the rider takes it 3 wide from the 1000m mark to the 300m mark and only goes down by half a length.. silly ride .. I’m obviously not a jockey but I’d sack him if I was the trainer.. surely you’d take your medicine and stay at the back for one last crack ??

Missing the start wasn’t the jockey’s problem. If he stayed back until the final straight, he would not have enough time to catch up.
The horse is a winning machine. The runner up will feel hard done by but once the Warrior eyeballs you its game over.

If he stayed back, probably he would get at most third given it was a slow pace race.
