    Am Igbo. But I can't stop appreciating this guy and his training of his kids in Yoruba language.And this is the coolest,calmest,most humble dude of a traditional ruler in the whole world. I LOVE THE OONI OF IFE. HE IS SIMPLY CLASS AND PERSONALITY DEFINED.

      First step is to give them or rather start calling them by their native names. I have three Children and all of them bear their Yoruba names. And anytime they come home from school, English speaking is temporarily banned. Myself and my wife communicate with each other and the kids in Yoruba dialect.

    I am Nigerian American from Macon Ga USA my father is from Lagos Nigeria and my mother is from Raleigh NC I have been taught speaking yourba language and imbo languages since I was 10 years old ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Their parents need to crown their efforts by giving them Yoruba names. Arabian identity for someone who is promoting Yoruba identity is a minus.

      I think they have Yorùbá names. One said he's Akanji, which is a typical Yorùbá name.

      Akanji, Ayinla, Ayinde. Those are Oriki. Only Yakub has a regular Yoruba name: Oluwaseun.

    I love this. Please your majesty if I may suggest, some beautiful white rug carpet for people to kneel and 'dobaleh' on will be very nice. I truly love the organisation and ambience of the Palace. That lady sitting on a chair should have also worn some traditional attire. I think it's a disrespect for the revered stool what she wore. It's either you are all in or out of it.
