That's a beautiful machine! Brings back a day long gone when I got a brand new 78 1/2 RM 250 C2 off the showroom floor. That's the one I'm waiting for.
I have three suzuki rm 250 1978 C2 I have raced with them in Argentina and Spain and for me they are exceptional motorcycles. I have many spare parts of them In whatever way I can help you...I'm here
Appreciate this channel. Still hot my 1978 xr75 I got in 3rd grade. Still riding my 2004 xr400r and crushing new school rigs in the woods. God bless you all!
I had 1977 RM 125, and it was super easy to start, reliable, and very easy to maintain. Of course, I wanted a bigger bike, so I got a 1978 Suzuki RM 400.
Yep, when the 20:1 gas mix sticker is still on the tank, it is brand new. It should have said, "Use 20:1 unless you are using Castrol-R oil,---or the rig will stick in the piston groove." :)
Uncle captain Kaplan motorcycles this is the best bike of its time love to own this beauty of 1976 it's ahead of its time great value in motocross and the aluminium tank is significant greatness a very world class champion
I nominate Kaplin as one of the coolest guys in the industry today. He would still be in the top 5 percentile of cool in the old days of extreme coolness, but the cool competition is slack today. Racer-x clearly hires the wrong people. Maybe they are cool on their alien planet, I don't know. But I would like to see better immigration policy myself. :)
I think "brass knuckles" are illegal in Michigan,-------------------------------------------------------------but it looks like those are made from aluminum. haha I can tell by all the "loop holes". har har,---oh man.
Suzuki has the best sound back in them days!!

If Suzuki would put the money into motocross they could be on top again
