- The Short Track Super Series crosses the border into Quebec for the first night of the Lumberjack Swing at Autodrome Granby on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Matt Sheppard captured the win in last year's series race at Granby, holding off Canadian standout David Hebert.

Pretty dang cool to see a local come from mid pack and legit pass all the best of the series. Sheppard May have got screwed on the call but he had nothing for Hebert. Crowd reaction was awesome.
How did Shepherd get screwed
@bobdavidson8159 He appeared to have made the pass for the lead well before the start/finish line when a caution came out. But didn’t matter, he was second best.
NGL I love the Quebec swing. Just hearing the call in French makes me chuckle.

Just watching burning rubber film with John travolta and never seen this type of racing before. How fast 💨 and how dangerous are these cars???
They're fast like over 100mph but pretty safe as the driver is sat in the middle of the frame and has a racing harness etc.

How TF on lap 22 did the 9s get put behind the 35?
Depends in series rules. Some series have to have the top 5 cars come across the line before it's considered a complete lap. Idk on this series though
They un-scored a lap and a half 😂. The 35 was stopped in turn 3 on the next lap. That was pretty shady.

@@mikesign3219I was talking about the black 35 that brought the yellow. It quit halfway through the next lap.
Mahaney seems like one of the better cars, but it looked like the officials were tired of seeing the 9s win.
